I'll start it off with an easy one. To gain unfoundables/foundables faster, don't just stack 3 dark detectors at an inn. Find a place that has 2-3 inns near each other to stack detectors at, while making sure that roughly 1/4 mile away there is another inn set to stack detectors at. That gives the refresh rate for spawns enough time to stay in a constant loop of unfoundables spawning. (Basically you never run out.) To up the spawns even more, try to do this at a flagged area that is already a hot spot for spawning. Hope this helps 😉.

What are flagged areas?
Flagged areas appear on the map. You will see a flag with a medallion. Click on the flag to see the area where foundables of that type can be returned.
I use a brain elixir each evening and visit my local hotspot to encounter oddities. At 1,000 XP for each serpent and 200 for each leprechaun, it really adds up fast.
I think dusk is a great time of day to use any of the above tactics. It seems to spawn more of the Purple encouters that you can battle for quick XP.
there's a park i go through that has a ton of inns and fortresses. many foundables show up as well which is great. i always use the brain exlixir potion to double xp which helpme grind levels quick. ive also found that dark detectors work best when at inns in a group not alone (agreeing with Purethoughts )

Disagree w that
U can find big wild spawn of different types at location without any flag. On the other hand u can find place w flag where spawn 2-3 foundables per hour.
Besides if u'll farm same flagged location a lot u will see that ur registry is full of foundables of that type. Therefore, it is better to alternate such locations.
now, probably the most important clarification - event creatures do not come to locations with a flag

but if you complete a registry you can prestige those foundables to gain more experience per catch which helps leveling. So the flag thing isn’t a bad idea.
Good discussion everyone. To clarify, the goal of said tactic is to grind xp (which wasn't mentioned in first post.) As an added benefit, u can fill up those registry pages too.
Moving forward, does anyone else have any tricks up their sleeves that help them in becoming the badest witches and wizards on the block?
Surprised no one's discussed lvl1 Fortress farming yet. 500xp for 2 casts with a Baruffio. I pick an area with 2 or 3 Inns and a Fortress, pop Baruffio, toss detectors and once I complete the traces I do a round or two of lvl1 on the Fortress to give traces time to respawn. Knocked out 50xp in an hour today doing this of course those Brilliant traces at 1k a piece helped alot as well.
@CytopeAchen There is not amymore 500xp for lvl1 fortress with 1vl1 runestone. they lower the amount of xp from it to 160 I think. the new update will push players to play higher level fortresses. specially level 9 fortress and higher ones with much more higher xp now.
@Zakhi thanks for the update, I guess I was clicking to fast earlier to notice. Well, can't be to upset about that. Do you know if anyone has posted a break down of the xp per fortress level yet?

Looking at these numbers I imagine this will change again before it settles. The progression seems adequate but the starting number seems a little low when you compare it to completing a trace.
