Bonus task completed but not counted

I waited until I got to the bonus round to place any images. I just placed all 4 and yet I didn't get credit for placing even 1 image in the bonus task that says to place 3 images! I just want the credit for completing the task.
This has happened before recently with daily rewards between midnight and 3 am ET... But I knew I'd do it again and the game is almost over so I let it go. But I'm not likely to do this task again during this brilliant event. I just want the promised reward.
