There was an adversary event live for a while today. I used 1 BBE and 1 dark mark plus a lot of energy I wouldn't have otherwise trying to get through the tasks. Them the event disappeared. Is anything being done about that?
I have exactly the same issue. I used an EDM and this caused the Adversary event task list to disappear. So nothing I will do towards those tasks can be checked off.
The game is getting buggier by the day. Please Niantic, can you do basic quality testing before releasing new versions? The game is becoming almost unplayable.
Another new yet representative bug is I haven't been able to watch the Bonus Assignment video for several days now because the task list is freezing worse than ever before.
Same here. I'd managed to collect several of the tasks, and then the collection page just disappeared. I used an EDM, and then a Trace Detection Potion and used several Evil Eyes. Wasted.
Today's event. There was a gift box in the store. I think it was Horcruxes? There was like 9 of them which I'm sure was a glitch. I tried to click one, it kept saying "Purchase failed" so I restarted, and they were gone!! So now I don't get them? I never have them for the game? My in game name is Malkamiriam
While using an EDM, my Horcrux event went missing during the second adversary... Still no event page visible after multiple restarts. The account of my wife is also affected
Horcrux event missing after completing a few tasks. I’ve restarted the game but still missing. I have downloaded all assets. The same time s true for my daughters game. We are both playing on IPhone 8’s

Me too. It appeared at 7pm (GMT) and the hasn’t been there since. Also I never saw the adversary event over the weekend. I’ve downloaded all assets and am up to date otherwise.
This is proving a really sad and disappointing end of an otherwise enjoyable game.
Same problem here. Everything was fine until I used an edible dark mark. Now the tasks are gone just like what happened to me during the burning day event. Never got to play that one and it doesn't look good for this event either.
The event showed up as a blank circle on the bottom right of the screen. The game crashed. I restarted my phone and downloaded assets, but no event showed up. I have restarted my iPhone several times, but the event is still missing.
I never got the LeStrange adversary and no Horcrux event. I have been willing to live with the glitches that are increasing dramatically since Niantic decided to drop the game but come on. No access to advertised events is just bad form from. The company.
They announced that there would be no events because of the delay with 2.20. Bellatrix and everything after has been cancelled. They replaced Bellatrix with a spotlight event and will be announcing the rest of the December events and changes to the calendar this week. See the announcement page for more details.
...after showing up briefly at the appointed time. I actually saw it at 11:30 am PST yesterday, and then it vanished. It wasn't until much later in the day that I downloaded assets and manually updated the game from the Available Downloads or Updates settings on my iPhone XR. No EDMs were wasted, fortunately, but what's going on?
We have such little time left, so can't we please just get these last few Events?

The Horcrux Hunt started on time, I cleared two of the tasks, and was clearing the third and fourth with an Adversary chain (with the Basilisk and a dementor). When I finished, the task list was GONE. The Special Assignments page is blank.
I used an EDM, a TDP, and several Evil Eyes already. And time's ticking.
They suspended the Lestrange event, the 1920s event and the horcrux event for the new chat update. SMH. as if we need it less than 2 months before the game ends.

Agree. My Horcrux special page was loaded fine, then 2.20 dropped & afterwards has disappeared.
Had several tasks completed, with several EDMs burned for the dementor task.

The event showed up around noon and then disappeared around 2pm. I wasn't using a dark matk at the time, but the game has crashed several times.

I saw people discuss playing the Horcrux event on Reddit, but it never even started for me.. Not even after update and restart ..
