- Brilliant Event Tasks are missing - We had a server update that triggered this error. We are investigating the issue and hope to resolve it soon. We may extend the Brilliant Event if we are unable to resolve by then.
- SOS Achievements reset for some players. We are looking into how this will be restored.
- Completed Achievements reset for some players. We are looking into how this will be restored.
- XP rewarded from encounters does not match XP in the registry page. We are investigating this now.
I'll update this report when we know of fixes. Thank you!

And what about not being able to use master notes on the potions?
While we are investing these recent bugs, we are pausing the 2.19 release and will resume this next week.
We will be extending this Brilliant Event until November 8, 11am PT.

What is the point to extends the brillant event if you are not able to fix the issue?
at some point it's better to give the update 2.19 than to run a broken event
The event being extended won't help me so far. I only got the first couple tasks done in the event. I still don't show event tasks.
Any current news on a potential fix to the missing event as we start into our third day?

@hpwulola we still don’t have the tasks after 2.19 update. Should we give up on getting it or continue waiting?
@hpwulola answering here as well as discord in case it helps. I'm on iOS, google login. Event started as normal, was part way through Part 1 when I had the profession/SOS reset bug. When that was resolved, I had lost the event tasks completely and haven't seen anything since.
Note I can still see brilliant traces and portkeys on the map, just no event tasks or information.

@hpwulola I'm confused, above you wrote: "We will be extending this Brilliant Event until November 8, 11am PT." But now I'm hearing that's false. There's no moderator updates to this thread - so could you please clarify what's accurate?
You also wrote above "we are pausing the 2.19 release and will resume this next week", yet 24 hours later 2.19 is rolling out. Now I'm hearing we're going back to original schedule... but since original schedule was never released, none of the players know what that means. Does it mean the Brilliant Event is no longer extended?
What about all the players, including myself, who were not able to partake in the Brilliant Event? Even if the tasks reappear now, we'll have less than 44 hours to complete them, which is insufficient to complete five tasklists, with multiple time-gated tasks. So we lose out on:
Also what guarantee do you have that this isn't a recurring bug? If I can't partake in this event, how do I know this bug won't occur on future events? And if staff's response is same, then there's no point waiting till January, the game might as well end now.
Lola, I understand you're not the one making these decisions, but no one else on the HPWU-staff is listening to us. Even though I love Harry Potter and have hundreds of Harry Potter items in my room surrounding me right now, I don't think I could play another game from WB/Portkey Games given how they've handled this one.
I just complete the update, downloaded the assists, logged out and logged back in. I still cannot get the brilliant event tasks. 16;30 PDT
Same. Did the 2.19 update downloaded assets. Still no tasks
Since we were able to push forward the 2.19 update, we are going to resume the original planned schedule and have the Lethal Adversaries launch this weekend. A full schedule will be posted soon.
There’s still no information for those of us who can’t access the brilliant event tasks. I get that you are ending the game. But I would really like to complete things. Been with the game since the beginning and am really sad to see it end.
@hpwulola What does "resume the original planned schedule" mean for this Brilliant Event? Are you retracting the Brilliant Event extension that you listed above? Can you clarify that, i.e. give the date & time that this Brilliant Event will end?
What happens to those who haven't been able to partake in this event? Do we lose those rewards (RSB, gold, etc)? Do we have an empty hole in our registries from the brilliant images we're unable to earn? I heard from others that the story line has major implications - are we expected to continue playing the game without knowing what's going on?
Can you please let us know what's going on? The lack of communication from HPWU staff is very frustrating for those of us unable to participate in this event.
@hpwulola Completely understand the situation with the game's ultimate demise, the plan to wind down, and the likely lack of resources available. However, please be aware that there are very loyal, very dedicated, and now amazingly frustrated players who have been involved with this game since Day 1 and who have completed every single task presented who are now facing not only the prospect of the game ending too soon, but of not being able to actually complete the game at all because they've somehow randomly lost their brilliant event task list and with it apparently a hugely pivotal section of the story line. Extending the event was the only hopeful sign we've received that there might be a possibility of a resolution, but with the sudden and unexplained reversal and return to the "normal" schedule, it appears as though we might simply be "out of luck" and our game might end 3 months earlier than it does for others with no ultimate resolution. We really do hope you can help us somehow to address this situation.
@hpwulola For those of us that don't have the tasks, what are we supposed to do since the original timeline is going forward without us?
Are they even attempting to fix this? I’ve been playing since day 1 and now all the sudden they’re cancelling and I can’t even play one of the last events? So frustrating.
I am also wondering if they are attempting to fix this. I really hope so because I'd like to at least attempt to complete the event.
@hpwulola wasnt the extension so that players who can’t have the brilliant event also play after it was fixed at some point? 2.19 didn’t fix the task list for us, so why are we have the Lethals instead? Like Owl515 asked, do you know if we will get the Lethal event or are all events gone?

I do not have the event tasks. I started task one but the asks went away after catching 3 brilliants. I tried updating my iOS, deleting and reinstalling the game, and downloading all the assets. I still don't have the event tasks.
November 4 and still no task list in sight
It looks like they are not going to fix this and moving on. How disappointing.
I've read that those of us without the BE tasks are SOL but we may have the page filled in as compensation? What about all the gold and other rewards we're unable to earn, though?? This sucks!!
Get event reward, tap X to go back to main screen, brings me back to task awards overlapped with main screen buttons, and have to force close to restart & get back to normal.
