I work with computer programming (games, development, etc) for 42 years, since 1979. this game is one of the coolest, i play since beggining, but the incompetence of the hpwu programmers i have never seen in all my professional experience. Worst workers of the world of the computation.
Has anyone claimed the free gift yet? When I go on it it doesn't actually show what it is. Is there actually something to claim?
Has anyone claimed the free gift yet? This is what I see & I don't want to press it in case I just get nothing.
Which watch i trust?
Pictured in same time.
Hi @FixMyGreenStars This means, the 1920s Portkey Portmanteau without a Key in it (unlocking process hasn't started yet) will only disappear two hours after the event ends and not immediately. I hope this answers your question.
Edit: Reprashed my reply.
@Hannager claim it, its a visual bug, it contains 2 silver keys.
My partner has a theory about milage calculations. He thinks that if you just walk, without catching foundables or interacting with inns or greenhouses, your milage recorded is enhanced compared to playing as usual. Has anybody else noticed this ?
The event seems to have ended early at 7pm local time ...
@xxxlindy in my experience, the portkey portmanteau does not open unless I interact with something on the map: like picking up an ingredient/portmanteau/spell energy, clicking on traces/inns/greenhouses/fortress. Once, I knew I had .1 km to walk to open the portkey portmanteau but didn't interact with something on the map until the end of my one kilometer walk. The portmanteau opened, and I placed my gold key in the next portmanteau. The remaining .9 km of my walk did not transfer to the next portkey portmanteau. Not interacting with something on the map is not a good idea for me.
~11 hours left to go in the event and yet get a popup saying it's ended.
Programmers can't tell time apparently...smh

Just felt like dropping an HP quote all up in the mix…
@Drakonite Thanks for confirming :)
Personally, I like that these pages take a long time to complete. The baby beasts seemed like such a waste, one event and done, and they look like a lot of care went into the graphics.
I guess I don’t know what 11 pm PT means - it’s 8:25 Pacific Time and it says it’s over.
Well that was a pointless event. Did not have a single 1920s portkey spawn although I live in a city and walked around. The last brilliant event was stupid too, used 5 ttd just to get to level 3 and still didn't finish it. Wish you would fix the bug with opening spell gifts torso the game don't crash every time I open one.
@hpwulola thank you very much for the extra time before the keyless 1920s portkey portmanteaus disappeared. 👍
Enjoyed the event. Like that it doesn't influence the ordinary spawn rate and I like that the portkeys dissappear after the event so we can be ready for the community day (which I'm NOT boycotting).
I forgot to open the gift! DOH!
I HATE the game mechanic via portkeys. It might work if there was some balance to which traces you get but there's not - out of around 80 portkeys I've opened between the two events, somehow 12 were Credence and only 4 were Nagini, so still not able to prestige that page and nowhere close on the other two. It's also cumbersome having the trace after opening the portkey so takes forever to get through 10 of them, not really an on-the-go thing. Those who boycotted really didn't miss much.
