Cooking food
We have ingredients and a cauldron. How about allowing people to cook food to assist people with energy issues. This alleviates the running out of energy in a wizard tower as well as issues with players in more rural areas to help stabilize their energy in between the times they can get to inns. Personally I would love to cook some soup. Frog brains stewed in reem's blood with some ginger root and garnished with some sneezewort. Am I right?

i like this idea. it makes you choose between potions or energy...so you have to give up a thing to get a thing. fair deal.
timers are hours on potions, i would be cool with an equal system: the timeline for making the three levels of exstimulo potions would seem to translate into making 3,6 and 10 energy meals.
that would make it not having a portable inn with you - but let you get something per day. a full breakfast, full lunch, and full dinner each taking eight hours fits a 24 hour day for the human suggested three meal a day diet.
good idea and has merit.
Idea brought up for an energy potion. Can you add the above to the thread for support of that and I kinda like it being a food instead of a potion. Kind of a neat twist.

@Craeft do you just want me to copy paste?
@Digitalis I think 8 hours to cook food would be odd... You'd already be at the next meal. Things that take that long to make our are slow cooked are generally going to be meals for a ton of people. I think 8 hours for 10 energy is very harsh. An entire day to get meals that would be 3-10 inns MAX? If you are near 5inns that is 10 minutes or less of time. It would need to be less time to help rural players.
For the balance and benefit of Niantic, it is simple. You can only fit so much food in your picnic basket. Gold purchases here would be like for 1 additional meal. Cap would be low. Alternatively, food spoils. So sure you could keep churning it out but you couldn't really stock pile it.
@Ginnungagap - Yeah. Copy/Paste is fine. It just kinda helps centralize support for an idea for admins.
@Ginnungagap i am one of those extremely rural players you are expressing concern for. population of my town is less then 200 people total and it is miles of empty highway and farmland in either direction of the one road through town to get to another town.
i dont want to see people have a portable inn with them as their cauldron...else why go outside?
i do not have 5 inns in my town for sure - five inns would be crazy lots of energy.
@Digitalis the time to energy ratio would not make inns pointless. It is more of a stopgap. Additionally there would be no way for this to do anything but help level the field somewhat for those who live in a dense area. Those who live in cities still have reasons to go outside. Even if it took one hour to cook a turkey dinner. That is 1 hour for 10 energy. I can get 3 inns in like 15 seconds for better gains. I'm sure you have also encountered confoundables that have taken over 10 energy to catch. It really is not that disproportionate.
