Many feature requests and general feedback
Playing for a long time, hit L60 a long time ago and I finally want to share some feedback and suggest some improvements. (And complaining about bugs that annoy the most and are still not fixed)
Traces:
-Make it visible if one foundable has been interacted with already (traces already checked out should stop spinning)
-make it visible if one foundable is about to expire so you can prioritize these (make them spin faster if they are about to disappear in less than 2min)
-Remove the clutter with all the colours, the beams dont have to be that long or that thick
-Dont make traces spawn on top of each other or inside greenhouses/inns/fortresses. Really hard trying to select them.
-Fix the bug with foundables appearing at a different location after interacting with one
Gifts:
-30 is too low as limit. Either make it so it can be upgraded with coins like other storage, or make it expendable with adding branches to the skill tree
-make an option where we can show which GIFT we would like to receive. make it show up in the gift sending menu
-Make Premium gifts (Gold, magnificent runestone gift,..) take priority over the standard gifts (normal runestone gift, low energy gifts) and replace them when at the gift storage limit. Or make it an option.
-Fix the bug where the "delete gift" button is unresponsive if you deleted a gift just above it
Lore:
-When you unlock new lore info or conversations make them appear not as overlay but in a different menu so it can be checked out later. Or just let me read it later.
I am always busy with doing something else when I unlock new dialogue and cant afford to read the lore just then.
Charms:
-Trace charm foundables shouldnt be randomly disappearing
-Trace charm should have the same effect on returning a fragment and the XP, regardless if its a normal spawn, a dark detector spawn or a TTD spawn. Last time I checked they gave different family XP and different fragment counts.
General (Important):
-Interacting with Inns and Greenhouses takes way too many steps. Just let me tap on it on the overworld for getting the rewards. No need for opening a menu, to then perform a spell, to then confirm and then exit.
-Red Dots: Make an option in the settings to disable them for each menu. For example I think the red dots for potions and portkeys are very useful, the ones for profile customization are useless.
-Picking up ingredients/energy should not make another popup appear that you have to tap away.
-Like Ingress or Pokemon GO, players should be able to nominate Wayspots
-SOS assignments: Introduce new tasks or just hide the section when completed because it just takes up space
-Fortresses are basically useless with the Knight Bus existing. Make them drop something, like a runestone gift and a potion. Maybe cap it to one per day, but at least something.
General (Less important):
-Disable the random error that appears when starting the app
-disable the warning when starting the app, it is 1) pointless 2) wasting my time 3) doesnt help anyone
-greenhouses, fortresses and inns look the same when tapping on from outside the interaction range. all are pentagons, make them look different for easy visual distinguishability
-dont include watching ads in the daily task, it doesnt really make it feel immersive and its just boring
-Introduce Levels beyond 60. At least show the xp.
-let us prestige the pages beyond the limit. no new colours required after gold, just show a number how many times a page has been prestiged.
-skill tree: high level players often have nothing to work for, they can only wait for the next even to get green books. expand it or give us another way of getting at least small quantities of RSB.
-the horizon still looks ugly, its cut off and you can see the polygons. put some mist there to make it look a bit more mysterious and better
-Scrolls, Field Guides and Ministry Manuals became completely useless for me relatively soon. Let us do something with them.
-Spawns are not optimised. Where I get 20 spawns in other Pokemon GO, in WU I only get 1 or 2. However, in other areas spawns are plentiful
Profile:
-Profile is too cluttered. wand, house, profession, and stats like km walked should be some text at the bottom
-avatar would be nice, but its NOT WORKING
-make option to show which GIFT we would like to receive. make it show up in the gift sending menu
-introduce character customization. make the character appear on profile and at the end of fortress battles and as animation when opening a gift from that person. you can monetize this.
Brilliant events:
-They seem like copy paste, feel like its always the same tasks just with different looking foundables
-Brillant spawns dilute the spawns. since brilliant trunks cant give gold gifts, spell books, trace charms this is a DOWNGRADE. Make brilliant spawns extra spawns, not replace the current ones.
-Stop punishing players for visiting the events page too early or for placing the fragments too early. This can be a crucial setback. --> Make the task retroactive or change it.
-Highlight the current event's runestone in challenges so I dont have to scroll through 100 identical looking runestones for an hour just to do one battle. Or make them appear at the top.
Portkeys:
-I would prefer if they give us a choice what rewards we get. For example if you open a portkeys why not let the players choose between different outcomes? One player might need energy, another one ingredients. Let the player chose because right now portkeys can be completely useless
-fix adventure sync
Professions:
-Professors are criminally underpowered. Make them deal more damage or let us reset our lessons.
-there should be a quick switch button to faster switch profession. I might want to change profession to fight a certain foe
-there should be an indication which profession is currently selected in the main screen. Could be the same button as the quick switch I mentioned above.
Knight Bus/Adversaries
-Adversary battles take way too much time, cant integrate it into normal gameplay when walking outside. Make them collectable so you can fight them later.
-Knight Bus: Base rewards on how much you participated. Free loaders can ruin it for all other players.
Achievements
-many are still unobtainable: "distinct spell cast" "mystery items found" "auror lessons mastered" and more
-rewards for achievements should be way more interesting
-add new achievements. there have been many featured added since launch.
