Get rid of the ads videos, or make the ad rewards worth it. Getting one snowdrop isn’t worth it. Just saying.

No. and they are worth it, I got a restricted book yesterday and others got potents and the likes. Ofc the good rewards arent gonna be 100%.

I got an RSB after the 2nd ad I played. I also got a strong potion once, but only single ingertients the rest of the time.
If you don't like the ads task, don't do it. Personally, for a chance at a RSB, I'll give up 30 seconds of not looking at my phone while an ad plays.
I also got 1 RSB, better than nothing. If you don’t like it, don’t use it.
No, the ads are pretty poor. If you’re asking us to help you earn money then the rewards have to be worth it. This isn’t part of gameplay where randomness is tolerated( though sometimes with gritted teeth). You’re asking us to do a job. Scale up the rewards, or give us an option to clear the video without watching it. Or get rid of them altogether !
The requirements to finish the daily tasks are watching a ad. That is the main point here. Remove the ad and put it elsewhere, not a part of finishing the daily requirement.
@ZephyrFlux the ad is not part of completing your daily requirements. That's why they called it a *bonus* assignment. If you choose to ignore it, you can still complete your daily tasks as normal.
Honestly, I can't understand the intense reactions people are having over this. If you're opposed to ads in game, then just don't click the button. Problem solved.
Clearly the random group that were chosen is clear enough to show that randomness is not the way to go. Why not make it an option to opt in? I clearly cannot understand why some people are making such a big fuss over something that doesn’t affect the game unlike ads in other games. Since they clearly do not want it, offer it to the others who will willingly watch the ads.
hopefully niantic can take this feedback and do something about it.
We have the option to view the ads. The daily tasks can still be completed if you choose not to watch add.
My thought is if funds from ad revenue is used to fix AS, restore the 4,100 + missing POIs in Minneapolis and St.Paul, and other in game improvement I'm happy to watch a 30 second ad.
I get that we don’t need to watch the ad to complete our daily assignments. And it’s lovely to hear that some folks are receiving RSBs and potions. I tried watching the ads for several days in a row, every single time got ONE ingredient, and most often that ingredient was one I do not need. Not sure why the minimum gift can’t have some decent level of consistency to make it worthwhile.

How can I watch the sponsored ad for a gift? I have never had the option. I would totally watch an ad for a free gift whatever gift that may be.

It is random I believe who gets picked. Personal if I had the choice, I would give it to someone else. The rewards so far are not even worth it to me. All I ever get is ingredient that are common and are all available on the ground.
in order to complete daily tasks. You need to watch the ad to complete every task. Top photo shows I haven’t watched the ad, second shows that I watched it. And that completes all my tasks. Yes, the say it’s not necessary to watch the ad. But it does not clear itself until you do. This is
@ZephyrFlux I get that… it leaves your task page looking incomplete, even though you get the “certificate” saying that all other tasks are complete. It’s definitely awkward to have the ad button still there.
Whatever they’re running these ads for, I hope it helps them assign more crews to the issues that are making gameplay so tricky for folks (AdventureSync, fortresses quitting, etc).
I agree, hopefully this will get their attention. Like I said, give us the option to take part of it, don’t force us.
