That time I returned a McGonagall Fragment

Since there has been such an interest in returning Professor McGonagall I thought I would share how I encountered her fragment.
During the previous community day there was an outbreak of Hogwarts School foundables. My wife and I ran 3 dark detectors on a set of inns over a small area. She appeared at this time. I don't think this means you need to wait for a community day, but if you are interested in finding some of the more rare foundables I would get with a group and run dark detectors. To optimize your chances you may want to do this in an area with a high rate of Hogwarts School foundables like a college campus.

i have returned two fragments of her.
first one was on june 29th, randomly somewhere with no inns, greenhouses or fortresses.
the second fragment i found in an alleyway in the small town i am in - it was almost as far as you could get from the five point of interest locations here and still be in town limits.
not disputing your data, simply adding to it.
@Osprey1 thank you for the tips! I have tried dark detectors over a few inns close together but without much success. As @Digitalis says, sometimes it just seems to be random good luck!
But the idea is definitely worth a try when you have dark detectors to spare, any advice is good advice for trying out various ideas.
Let's get these elusive confoundable & continue to share if we do find them as to where it was cos that really is a big help.

@Osprey1 that's when she started appearing for me to. We had 3 DD on every Inn at the park as well.
I've run across her a few times since. Twice yesterday, in fact. The only commonality I can say for sure was that all of them were within range of an Inn. For me, at least.
Oooohhhhh my goooodness!!! This morn whilst taking my daughter to & from an appointment I first encountered emergency Hagrid! Threw a potent & great casts at him but he still fled 😔
Next- on the way home i finally, unbelievably ran into McGonagall 😀 omg she changes into a cat! The screenshots i took look amazing- il post them here when i figure out how to add pics from the advice ive been given.
I was sooo excited i can't even tell you! I had no potent as used last on Hagrid, so just a strong potion, but 4 great casts & she was rescued!! Wow- i couldn't quite take it in! Lol. So absolutely chuffed I've finally seen her & caught her first time!
Today has been a very good day!! Wish id had my baruffio going at that time! 770 xp! I'm a very happy WU enthusiast today! 😀

Ahh thanks @Acumen ! Chosen one 😂 and yes @Dogoutlaw i really was hyped & couldn't stop smiling all day!
Plus this eve i saved Newt again with my Baruffio going! 1100xp, and had levelled up just b4 fortress, went in & earned 2500xp, then with baruffio still going i got a total of 5700xp from portkeys!!

@Dogoutlaw yeh! There he was right by the fortress as i came out with baruffio still going!!- could not believe my luck! I thought today couldn't get any better after McGonagall- but with Newt & the fab portkey xp i was spoilt! 😀 couldn't be more chuffed today!
Il give him a shout & tell him to head your way, with McGonagall of course! They can have a road trip 😂
