Fix AS for Android users before releasing an event that requires AS!

I believe it's a slap to the face of all Android players if the 1920's event is still a go next week and the AS issue hasn't been fixed.
As a hard-core, day 1 player my AS worked fine until 2.18 update. If 1920's is released and the bug isn't fixed, I would be hard pressed to invest my time in the game any longer.

I totally agree. I'm losing patents with this game!
The event should not go forward with many of us not being able to participate. I too will not continue to spend my time with the game if the do continue with the event. My gameplay has already slowed since AS stopped working. But it will even more and possibly all together.
Exactly. Roll back the 2.18 changes and revert to the earlier version until you can fix this bug, or cancel/remove all events/requirements that depend on Portkeys (including the daily task for distance.)
As far as the game is concerned, I haven't walked at all in days. I can guarantee this is not the case. Not only do you need to fix the AS bugs but you need to rerun the 1920's event for those of us who have missed it!
