Dear WB/Niantic
As one of the representatives of the HPWU players, I would like to share something with you.
We are bored.
Outside events we barely play, and at events most of us do the bare minimum. Even skipping events, that have no titles, RSB or other collectibles.
As a former hardcore player, playing more social now. I really love the game, but we need content outside events. Something to wish for and achieve.
All pages, professions, levels have now been completed and the only endgame we have is: waiting (or farming gold)
To keep the players playing, grind ing and wishing to play - we need something more. Something we can’t complete in a few days or something locked by events.
We came up with a few ideas, that we would love to hear some feedback about:
- being able to prestige or wizard level: We will earn a picture/title on our passport and then reset our lvl to 1, requirements for leveling up could be increased by a factor of the prestige lvl. So first time you do it, it’s 2x the amount of xp needed.
- Prestige our gold pages to a new frame. Make the fragments needed 10 times more, so it’s a hard task even with trace charm and dark detectors.
Basically we would wish for something to do between events - something to grind. Something to make all foundables exciting to meet, make the tonic and baruffios useable again outside event.
Please hear us out, we need something to do in the game.

Love this request. I wasn’t hardcore but played the game a lot (including by your possible measures of success like time and dollars spent on it). Now I have barely any reason to open the game, and only stay around for the community.
I really hope there is some change. The constant repeats of the same kind of events aren’t making it any more exciting. I understand there are bugs to fix that are more important, but couldn’t something simple like new longer term tasks or some other ideas like Plotter mentioned be done to keep players around?
Bring us back the game that used to be fun!

I second every bit of this whole heartedly! Please please please listen if it's not possible it's not possible, but as players some actually feedback or responses and not cryptic messages would be appreciated.
Yea to all of this!!! I’m not even a grinder, but I’m bored. I’ve been bored for quite some time. I don’t want to be.
I would add that the fortresses also need a massive update. For example, how about 5 new Adversary chambers with increasing difficulty? All the foes could be guards and adversaries, and it should be really difficult to beat with our current skill set.
Dark 5 with a team that has a basic understanding of how their professions work is boring. That only real incentive to fortress these days is to have a chat with your friends while doing it. I miss the days of fortressing being exciting and where winning a chamber was a challenge & exciting when you accomplished it.
100% agree with everything. I barely even open the app to do the daily tasks anymore. There's no motivation to do so. I wish they'd bring back the SOS Assignments . That was just about the only thing to do that wasn't event related. And all the events at this point are just rinse and repeat. Honestly if not for the community and the amazing friends we've picked up along the way I think a lot of us would just uninstall the game altogether.
Yes! For those who started at the beginning, there is no incentive to go beyond the bare minimum as everything that is possible to complete is done. We need something new!
I like the idea of fortress chambers with greater difficulty and an expanded variety of foes; why can’t the witches and the Basilik from the Halloween from the first year be included in the fortress foe lineup? A level past 60 would be good to have as well.
I’m not eager to have another frame after the gold one to collect fragments for, but I suppose I could deal with it if it actually ever happened.
100% agree with everyone above. The only thing that keeps me playing is the community and friends that I've met on discord.
Plotter has done a great job of new fun tasks each week to keep it entertaining, but the game itself is boring with nothing to work towards once your maxed on everything.
Fortressing is only fun to play with friends and socializing.
Speaking only for myself, these latest bugs, have me playing less and not really interested and I've been all in since the beginning.

There really needs to be new and/or expanded content for ALL aspects of the game to encourage more regular play, though fortressing (new levels, new foes, and new potions that could allow for a greater variety of strategies) and advanced player levels would be a great place to start. Heck, even seeing lifetime XP would entice some players to want/need/use more game resources. And this is not only for players like myself who have played since the beginning, often, and have already experienced a few periods of "bored" and "done." Those who started later or play less are hitting this point now (or very soon), but you have a chance to create a better game experience for them.
Honestly, if it wasn't for a fellow game player (Plotter101) creating "unofficial" achievements and challenges for his discord community, I would only open the game for bare completion of events or to send gifts to help others. Which makes me really sad, as I enjoy many aspects of the game including the shared experiences with fellow players.
As a player who's been playing the game for only 7 months, I am maxed level and prestiged approximately every page. Now I only need RSBs and I'm getting a little bored.
I'm getting bored in 7 months let alone other players that are playing the game from the start. So please bring new content.
Honestly couldn't agree more. I don't necessarily want another frame past gold because that's just more of exactly the same. I want new pages. I want more adversaries. I want something FUN. I only play brilliant events now, and even those feel like wizard chores, not the fun game I used to play all day every day. I don't even open the app unless I'm doing a brilliant event at this point.
Would love to see Leader boards. Maybe XP, Foundables returned, and other metrics.
I would add a voice to the increased leveling, border beyond gold, and other long term things that contribute to ****.
