So I have used all my tonics and only have managed to get 1 James. This game used to be fun, but now between not being able to finish task and all the glitches it's getting boring.
The only advice I can give you is to try the Trace Charm. Also I love how the system **** what the hey (to be nice) when you click on this, but doesn’t on the recent discussion page.
5 Tonics with 3 Dark Detectors & ZERO James Potters... on top on all the other bugs (so no trace charms to use even if I found one) and the high data usage still totally off the charts... I keep asking myself why I am still playing this game......
Won't finish as have tried all the above and still no Potter. I have played this game from the first day it started and am getting so disappointed over these qlitches in the game. Will rethink how much more I am willing to take playing this game :(
I’m having the same issue. It’s almost as if they’re trying to wreck the game. It’s just not fun anymore. Now it’s only about an addiction that I can’t seem to step away from. 😆
Edited to add— I finally saw one, used a trace charm which didn’t bring a single other one and the one that was there departed after one spell. I’m out.

No, it was still a problem. I was downtown Portland for the entire day yesterday. I walked around between multiple spawn areas. Even with dark detectors and tonics both active, I didn't see even one single young James Potter.
I ended up being able to get the last two I needed using TTDs but I was in a car (as a passenger, duh) so I didn’t get credit for them. I have come to loathe this game. They manage to take my assets away from me (energy and potions) while I am in a car just fine but somehow when there’s something I really need I’m SOL. Other foundables I recovered registered fine, but most did not. Why would they treat loyal customers/users this way??
I was able to finish within the last hour/ maybe hour and a half of the event, but I went through all my tonics and had to buy a dark mark because I ran out and most of the natural spawns weren't pettigrew. This was by far the most difficult event and I tried going outside for at lesst 2 hours each day, but it's summer and I'm in the south and in a wheelchair. This was barely play at home friendly despite being advertised that way, and I went through all my potions but I've come to expect that. This one was a fail

..And Peter?? Yesterday can catches 6, and the spawn of Young Sirius its ridiculous
They definitely didn't make it easy this time.
I've only seen 1. Massive numbers of young Lupin and young Sirius.🤷♀️ Didn't get any with TTD or DD 🤷♀️
