Edible dark mark spawning required adversary?

Is it still the case that the edible dark marks are supposed to spawn only the adversary needed for the event task(s)? Mine isn't giving me only Peter Pettigrews today and the same thing has happened in other events. I haven't found a single one in the wild and it makes completing the event in such a short time frame very difficult :(.

    This was never the case. Ever since adversaries were introduced there have been dozens of posts on the forum from people complaining that the edible dark marks DON'T often spawn the current event adversary.

    Thanks. Some of the popular fandom pages that post event graphics were posting that edible dark marks from several events ago would now do that. I presumed they had a source for this.
