I cannot go into portkeys without Constance telling me how to use them. Every time!
I will note I had gone a day without using a portkey but with a couple sitting there. I was waiting for Brilliant event portkey and didn't want to start a 2.5km one.
I figured out a work-around! If you tap through Constance's instruction, then tap on the little "i" at the top, then close out of that, you should be able to then scroll through your portkeys. I was able to open a completed portkey and then stick my gold key in another one. At least that worked for me. Hopefully it's helpful for others.
You can just tap on a portkey after tapping thru the instruction screens and then can scroll thru your portkeys. Also seems like only get the tutorial when going to portkeys directly and not when get pop up from one opening.
PLEASE fix this @HPWUTeam as it is VERY annoying to have all these extra taps to do what was working just fine in the past.
Maybe this 1920s event should be pushed even further into the year so you all can work on actually FIXING things you keep breaking with updates. Rather see things fixed than get new event/registry page right about now.
I'm having this problem too! Ever since that last update. And no matter how much walking I do they're not unlocking. I've got 0.9 of 1km completed on a portkey and it hasn't unlocked, despite me having walked over 4km today. It's also not registered on the daily tasks - it says I've walked 0.04 which is very frustrating. It also keeps telling me it cannot connect to the server.
Also now, I'm stuck on 9/12 Brilliant Malfoy foundables in the special task, even though I've returned many more and the registry page shows that I'm returning them... but its not registering on the special tasks so now I can't proceed in the Brilliant event.
Also, I had a random hour where nothing appeared on the map, even using the tonic for trace detection! Some things have appeared now, but it's really spotty.

Yes! Constant Constance is creating consternation! Please make her stop.
Leave an unlocked portkey in your inventory and you won't get the tutorial dialogues anymore. The best workaround I've found until they put a fix in.
