Hi everyone out there, several times while fighting in the Fortress I have been joined by another player, this player doesn’t actually fight they just sit there while I battle double the amount of wizards, since I’m only level 27 snd I’m in tower chamber 4 this is a big ask. The other times the person has pulled out just as the battle starts so once again I have double the amount of enemies. I think this behaviour isn’t playing the game the way it should be played. Can I have feedback please. Hope this is the right place to post this and I should mention again that both of these situations have happened more than once.

ditch them and waste the rune, they're a freeloader and there's no -other- way to punish them, especially if you dont have any other player in there and its just you and them just leave the floor/chamber/fight and start anew w/o them. They deserve only scorn and no rewards.
Tourists as they are known are problematic. Some are malicious, others simply may just be loosing their connection during the tower battle. The one's that dip as the battle starts simply don't want to waste spell energy if there is not one of each profession in the tower. These people are the worst...especially when they don't even consider that newer players are not flush full of runestones, and that is a wasted commodity for you.
This is something that I hope Niantic fixes soon. There should be penalties for selfish gameplay in the towers.
