Struggling to catch the ridgeback dragon

I've completed all of the elements of this current event but the dragon element.

I've only managed to catch 1 ridgeback dragon, I'm finding it really hard.

Please can I have some help?

The dragon Adversaries are tough. They get easier if:

1. You have completed the SOS nodes which buff the power of Wit-Sharpening Potions; most people use one or two of these per Dragon.
2. You have completed the SOS nodes which buff the power of the various Exstimulo Potions; most people use a few of these per Dragon.
3. You have completed the SOS nodes which buff the power of Healing Potions; most people use one or two of these per Dragon.
4. You have completed the first lesson plan in your active Profession and made significant progress on the Advanced Adversarial Combat lesson plan which has buffs for Adversary combat.
5. You are high level which improves your core stats.
6. You have learned the movement pattern of he target dot; there are graphics online.

The dragons are end-game content, it may take time to get to them.
