After 4 requests to delete dup account, no action…

I’ve submitted four requests to delete an old (level 1) account I don’t even remember creating. I have a level 60 screen name I play regularly. I’ve used the “delete account “ firm as directed by the Support section. Nothing has happened other than an automated response (“we’ve received your request “) each time I have submitted the form. It’s causing linkage problems with my Pokémon account, which shows the old, defunct account as the one I can link to. Any ideas, suggestions would be most welcome.

    Hey @RoryElectric! You must have received confirmation emails in your inbox already. Please read the instructions carefully and confirm your request by replying there. However, I'm afraid you won't be able to merge your accounts even after deleting 'SLMCL'.


    We can link or unlink email addresses as login methods, but here you're trying to merge two different Niantic accounts (Pokémon GO - Lv 21 & Harry Potter: Wizards Unite - Lv 60) which is not possible. I hope this clarifies. Let us know if you have more questions.
