OWL event - McGonagall?

Is there something I'm missing to getting McGonagalls for this event? I've used four tonic for trace detection and parked next to an inn and used three dark detectors and I've had only one. Which I used a trace charm on and it didn't give me any more. I've completed every other part of the challenge, but I'm starting to worry I'm not going to be able to find three more by the end of the day, given the number of potions I've already blown through. Is something broken with the spawn rate? One trace out of four tonics seems really low.

    I'm having the same problem. Came on here to see if anyone else was. Professor McGonagall is the last thing I need to complete OWLS

    I’m having the same problem. OWL event McGonagall. Used two tonics, parked next to an Inn, used dark detector, but not even one showed up.

    Since the OWL event started I have seen only 3 McGonagalls. I have played, I'm guessing, 5 to 7 hours, used 5 trace detection options, and 5 dark detectors, and have played in multiple locations. What gives? This is the only task I have yet to complete. This drop rate makes me want to quit the game.


    My wife plays the game also, and she has seen the Mcgonagall trace several times while I have not, at the same location at the same time.
