No Alohamora

I have been playing for over 3 hours and have yet to see a trace that requires the Alohamora. Any one else having a problem?

    Same with me. I've played from home using TTD, and have gone out. Not a single alohamora. It's really frustrating.

    UPDATE: I found a few, but only after using two Pario Vestigus field charms and a Tonic for Trace Detection potion.

    Same here. Used 3 dark dectors on two inns and a tonic trace and only got one trace

    It’s okay where I live. There’s not a huge amount of opportunities to cast Alohomora, but enough that I don’t worry about finishing.

    Same here even with TTD. Worse is that every foundable that requires already had a potion used so gone with a fair or good. Embarrassingly this will be the hardest part of this task for me.


    On the UP, way up side: Dark Chambers (4 is my highest and have never been able to go further) make me shudder. Such a lonely, use all potions for absolutely nothing only to lose has been an entirely new experience which I think is much wanted by advanced players and creators. Since so many players and using charms I only went to level 1 but actually had FUN all three times. I may go back just for fun during this event to a higher level. Finally getting 'it' just no one ever there in these Chambers.

    I've also only actually found 1 trace that requires Alohomora, and now there's only about 16.5 hours left of the event. I also haven't even seen a single Mcgonagall, so I'm really doubting that I'll actually be able to finish this one.

    This is ridiculous. With less than 11 hours left in the OWL event, I have seen 4 Alohomora foundables (3 great casts) and one McGonagall! My son is no better off. Very frustrating

    Same problem here. So far, I got a whopping "six" Alohomora traces and got 2 Great casts from that. I am using TTD with no real benefit. I'll be flabbergasted if I manage to complete this "special assignment" since the programmers seem to want us to fail.

    I'm finally getting them, but they're not counting. Can someone please help? I've been stuck at 9/10 since this morning and have returned 4. I screencapped these with the timestamps:

    also having issues here... I have 11 hours left and have already used multiple tonic for trace detentions with no sign of traces requiring Alohomora. The only one I have gotten was without using a tonic! :(


    What gives? Aren't these boosted at all or is this a bug? I really need that silver key and would love to finish this event completely!

    Also not finding any alohomora fragments. Have used four tonics today and got ONE.

    Same problem. Very frustrating especially since almost over. For me I prefer not having cast challenges in events.

    Update… Two Tonic for Traces later yelled exactly 1 Alohomora (seriously?) and 4 McGonagall (thanks). Do better

    Tried using a Trace charm and TTDs with no luck. I have not seen 10 traces with the Alomohora spell the entire time. When I have gotten them already had a potion in use so it was gone with a good or even fair. Everything else is completed. All that work and potions for nothing.

    I agree. My husband and I have played for hours and almost no Alohamora foundables. We used multiple TTD as well.


    This is the only event I haven't been able to finish.

    less than an hour left to go on the clock and over a dozen tonic for trace detections used... but I finally got all my alohamoras
