Witches and Wizards,
Help return Brilliant Foundables from the Brilliant Mountainside during Part 2 of the The Creature Discomforts Brilliant Event, starting May 17 at 11 a.m. PT.
The Brilliant Foundables featured during this event can be found in the following locations:
- Baby Thestral - Wizarding Challenges
- Satchel of Fire Crab Shell Jewels - Tasks
- Baby Graphorn - Brilliant Portkey
- Brilliant Baby Chinese Fireball - Encounter
- Brilliant Baby Troll - Encounter
The Portkeys for this event will be 1.5km. As a reminder, Part 1 Portkeys will give you Part 1 rewards anytime you open them, even if you wait to open them during Part 2. Keep an eye out for Bonus Assignments that will be available in game after the main tasks have been completed!
Please note: To enable as many players around the world as possible to participate safely, this event has been adjusted to facilitate playing from wherever you are. Please remember to adhere to local rules and regulations, and be respectful of others and your surroundings.

I’ve seen that we finally get a new spell in Wingardium Leviosa! That gets us to 14/20 unique spells. Is it worth the team coming to the community to see what spells we would like to see in future?

Don't forget! This is a limited BE for new spell, so pick up your spell for task achivement and wait for next update. Anyway, looks like baby troll confoundable is stuck on obstacle too.

Just to make it even more non achievable for all of us with disabilities new spell is brilliant and about time but to expect great and masterfull spells again for some of us is impossible yet another challenge i will not complete, I have been playing since day 1.
We know you don't give a **** about your disabled players you should put a warning on the game intro. IF YOU ARE DISABLED DON'T BOTHER TO INSTALL AS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE EVENTS
Creo que los eventos son geniales. Ahí una pequeña situación de tantos eventos. Yo me mi caso me quedo sin nada de energía y colo casi no se puede salir. Es complicado ir a buscar. Me gustaría que después de terminar los desafíos pusieran más rastros de energía para poder recuperar algo de lo gastado. No encuentro nada ni en los trasladores en ocasiones no puedo juntar tan rápido como quisiera para continuar con los desafíos. Gracias niantic. Me encanta el juego y espero que para el futuro pudieran implementar el dar más libros de hechizo porque esos si que son difíciles de conseguir ni porque **** da uno prestigio a las páginas salen.
This really is a ableist forcing people to complete a brand new spell (or any spell for that matter) at a high or perfect level to complete an event.
New event - and it finally appears that the traces are more balanced at the beginning. One TTD down and the scores on the doors are as follows:
@C4tmonster I had to use 2 TTD in order to get 12 baby trolls, also out of 1 hour of TTD only one adult Thestral showed up. I'd like to strongly disagree with your post.
@hpwulola Any update on the distinct spells cast achievement bug? Many players have been stuck on 12 since release while others has gotten 13. With this new spells its still bugged just chamged to 13/20 for the ones with bug while the rest is on 14/20
@Groundwalker80 exactly the same experience for me. Guess the adult Thestra is not bumped for increased spawn.
and giving us a new spell is great.. having to cast magnificent on said new spell to complete the bonus event, not so awesome. Out of 20 baby trolls I managed one masterful... I guess I’ll be able to do 3 in a weeks time, but that’s not the point.
For the record (and I am not disabled, which makes this very difficult for some, I know ) the new spell is not hard to get a masterful on. I only have eight baby trolls and got two masterfuls already.
I can’t turn off AR in Portkeys o my iPhone. Portkey AR is off on my iPad.

Similar experience here. Required 2 TTD to collect the baby trolls, but I have yet to see one Thestral.

Anybody noticing that the Baby Thestral isn't coming up in Challenge wins? I'm playing alone - the Knight Bus is pretty empty - and have been playing Forest IV, V and Dark I and haven't gotten a Brilliant prize. What's going on?
@VoiceMaster I just played Ruins Chamber 1 four times and got one baby thestral.
