Samsung A12 not compatible?

I just got a new phone from my carrier, the Samsung A12, and when I pull up HPWU from my app library in the google play store it says "your device isn't compatible with this version." Is this true? It never even occured to me to check if HPWU was compatible with a brand new phone.

    i think hpwu need a phone with hardware gyroscope.
