I appreciate that you were willing to mark the Masterful Flipendo task "complete", but PLEASE don't ever do anything like this again. No requirements for Masterful tasks or "5 Great Casts in a Row" in the event OR in the Bonus. Even the "Great Ebublio" task was difficult for many players, who were unable to complete the event.
These types of tasks are too difficult for many people, including people without disabilities. And, not being able to complete them robs your players of the ability to complete future tasks in the game, because the players cannot accumulate the valuable rewards that come with completing the event. It also creates a tremendous amount of ill will towards the developers of the game.
In addition, although you were willing to "complete" the Flipendo task for those of us who were lucky enough to see your post on Discord, most players don't use Discord, so didn't know about this offer. It should have been posted in the game itself, so that everyone could know about it, and decide if they wanted to go for the Spell Book reward, or have you mark the task "complete".
Keep in mind that it's only a small percentage of people who will take the time to complain about an issue. Many more will just get frustrated and quit. This is supposed to be a game, which is supposed to be fun and entertaining, not frustrating and anger-inducing.
I understand that at least one of your player "guides" complained to you about this specific task before the event started. You probably should have listened to her. In fact, you might want to get feedback from your player guides like Animagus, Xpectogo, Orange Wizard, and Brita on all event assignments, so that you can make adjustments as needed in advance, instead of making your most loyal players angry.

Where on discord is this? I am one of the many people who almost never go to the community forum because it won’t let me sign in here with fb & am not on discord. I was frustrated enough with the masterful flipendo task to try multiple times to get in with my fb, finally linking my google account to the game and am posting.
I am also level 60, have never done a masterful flipendo & would love to know what is the alternative you posted on discord & how do we get it? Also, what is the name of your discord?

If you go to this link, and respond that you are not able to complete the task, Lola will mark the task completed, but ,you won't get the Spell Book (poor form, in my opinion). Then, you'll be able to finish the event, and go on to the Bonus.

I 100% agree with the OP.
Having a task that requires a masterful to complete is a slap in the face to new players, you're basically saying you don't want new players and F players with disabilities!
Sadly I won't be completing an event for the first time! MASTERFUL SHOULD NEVER BE AN EVENT TASK!
We want inclusion and fun for all!
Who ever chose this task should be demoted and/or fired!!!
Whoever created this task is either ignorant or sadistic. The difficulty level (ESPECIALLY for a time-sensitive task that is required to complete a registry page and earn RSB books) should seem obviously inappropriate to anyone with a thorough understanding of the game and its mechanics. I guarantee that they made at least dozens of people cry for no good reason with this nonsense. If the Brilliant Events continue to contain stressful tasks instead of fun ones, then I'm going to consider quitting the game
