Masterful Flippendo Impossible

I've been playing this game for nearly two years. I'm grinded my way to Level 54 at yet a Mastferful Flippendo is still impossible for me - even with a Potent Exstimulo applied.
I see there's already another thread complaining about this task on behalf on the disabled players, but I don't consider myself to belong to that group.
As things stand I, and a lot of other players, won't be able to complete this event. And inevitably, that means we will be less likely to participate in future events.
What idiot thought this was a good idea? I'd be very interested to hear the logic behind this task being set.

I am also not disabled, and am at Level 60, with the Masterful Achievement completed. I only achieved it because I was good at the Aguamenti cast. I CANNOT DO A MASTERFUL ON ANYTHING ELSE!
I have practiced the Flipendo cast using the Spell Caster tool, practice the cast before each attempt, have had a lot of traces with Flipendo today, and was only able to achieve a few at the middle to high end of Great, never even close enough to say that I almost missed it.
THIS IS A TERRIBLE TASK, and should be eliminated, or modified immediately to either 2 Masterful casts of any kind, or 4 Great Flipendo casts.
If this doesn't happen, Niantic or WB should compensate all players who did not complete the task, by rewarding them with ALL THE REWARDS they would have earned if they had completed the event, PLUS THE BONUS REWARDS they would have earned if they had been able to do the Bonus tasks.

By the way, potions won't increase your cast from Great to Masterful. They just make your cast more effective, no matter what level you have cast. So, a Great is still a Great. But the bar at the top of the screen will change from red, orange, yellow, or light green, to a darker shade of green. The weaker the foe and the stronger the Potion, the darker the green.
In fact, if you're trying to get a Masterful cast, don't use an Extimulo Potion. That way, you will have more chances to cast spells against the current foe. You can use a Dawdle Draught, though. But, these casts are so difficult to cast at the Masterful level, you'll use up all your Dawdle Draughts in no time.
I'm also finding it IMPOSSIBLE to cast flipendo masterfully. And to have to do 2 is really discouraging. I really hope that Niantic/WB change this task to something that is possible for ALL players. It's a game its supposed to be fun not frustrating.
Agreed. In three years I haven't produced a single masterful Flipendo and I'm a level 56 and master of many things. Outrageous.
I found over 30 Flipendos today. Practiced before casting, and most of the time I couldn't even get the cast to go green. This IS IMPOSSIBLE for most of your customers. Please fix it NOW!
It's also discriminating against the many disabled and/or elderly people who play the game.
The game is supposed to be accessible to all. This task obviously is not!
Why is this thread not being responded to by Niantic? There is another thread on this topic which indicated that anyone who responded to the thread would have the task marked completed.
I agree. I am at Level 55 and started playing since the very beginning.
At my best I can only get to the line between great/masterful, but it never goes to masterful.
This will be my first brilliant event that I will not be able to complete.

If you go to this link, and respond that you are not able to complete the task, Lola will mark the task completed, but ,you won't get the Spell Book (poor form, in my opinion). Then, you'll be able to finish the event, and go on to the Bonus.

As the same with many others I'm finding these two masterfuls to be impossible. If somebody's reading this please finish the task for me so I can finish this event.
In the previous post mentioned above concerning consideration for players with disabilities, I came across a post from the moderator saying all who posted in that string had had the masterful task ended so they were able to pass to the bonus assignment (that string has been closed and hence no one can place further comment and get the same consideration). Therefore, does this mean that “the powers that be” recognise this task to be impossible?! If so why can’t we all have the same privilege and put an end to this awful task and let everyone have the pleasure of completing their brilliant page? I always love the scene with Molly’s knitting in the movie!!
This will be the first time since the game started that I can't finish something. I struggled with the other tasks requiring Greats in a row or Masterful casts, but I did finish them. I am particularly miffed because I spent $60 on this game in April and then to finish April with my very first incomplete event makes me question my future in this game.

I have struggled to get my last masterful flippendo. I didn’t see the helpful hints to post on the boards until now. Please please please help me out.
2 years, almost Level 56, multiple professions and many dollars spent to be completely abused by this event. The pleasure is gone.
