I've been with the game almost since the beginning. And now it ends. As tasks have gotten harder and harder, I decided number of months ago that I'd play until I couldn't complete the basic tasks on the brilliant events. I couldn't afford the energy to complete the bonus round, so haven't done that since the beginning of the pandemic.
Today I spent over two hours, driving around (wasting gasoline), spending energy, trying to get 5 consecutive Great results. All for nothing. So I'll be removing the game from my phone.
Overall I've been disappointed in the game. When I started, I was able to play while riding in a car, with my wife driving. But it's gotten harder and harder, with my avatar standing in one place when I'm moving, trace items would appear down the road, showing the game knew I was moving but the screen wouldn't update. When I would do a trace for a task, I would at times get credit for the trace, but not for the task. I've also seen the reverse. (credit in the task but not on the page) And normal traces failed to credit, some times quite a lot.
I'll be unloading the app soon. At least I'll quit burning batteries up.

I started from the very beginning, but the tasks have been becoming increasing too much of a grind with back to back events. I've always tried, and consistantly completed events through the bonus stage, but people this next one is really ridiculous. The rewards are far wimpier than the cost in time and resources, so I 've already decided that I won't even try to finish it. Additionally, with me being next to last of all my friends and family that used too play, and I the only one playing daily and doing the regular events, the competitiveness edge is no longer a driving incentive. With that said, barring any true inspiring games updates(Not just events), and achieving level 60(I'm 59th) and really... really wanting too avoid the whole Lethal Adversarys events coming up and its hundreds of DADA books, I'll wind down my play time and probably stop shortly thereafter.
Can't but all agree with you. I have invested in all of the skills that is supposed to give you more extraodrdinary gifts. The outcome is nothing. Is it fun to do the fortresses. No. And when the outcome is **** , why would you care? What is the idea behind it. To drive players away?
