Do traces increase if you play in the same spot?

I have changed states and I don't get the same frequency of traces as I did in my previous place. I understand that, but will eventually playing in this new spot everyday cause the number of traces to go up for me?
I hardly get any traces unless I use TOD. Therefore brilliant events too are hard. Anyone experienced this before?

@Eleanor001 it is kinda a signature of HPWU 😄. i play HPWU mostly from my house, its almost 2 years now eventhough map features (new inn, greenhouse have been on the map here and there) traces spawn at most is 2 and that is DAILY spawns.
fortunately i could go out for early morning walk to do event tasks.
Eventually when niantic updates cell activity data, which they havent for 8 years running now.
Well, weirdly enough when i check the other two games my home got swarm of pokemon (about 6-8) and abundant XM in ingress.
@Kodokmag God! This is concerning. Wifi is best at home and traces are quite some distance away (mostly due to inns and greenhouses) 😭😭
@Eleanor001 as drakonite says usually cell activity is affecting the spawns, that mean the more "busy/crowded" (people with cellphone activity) an area is the more likely it will generate more traces. then how about your new place "busy-ness"? a phone provider (store) or internet provider store could sometimes boost map items generated around them.
I do live in "busy area" per se but its more tourist-y. I'll have to check if there are any phone/service providers around, though I'll keep my eyes open for the same. Thank you guys for the information! @Drakonite @Kodokmag

if you have any kind of 'wal mart' /mall etc parking lot(s) they are usually spawn HEAVENS, also busy parks, or stores etc are usually better at spawns than say a detached or semi detached house or even blocks of flats. Heck ive also found a lot more spawns near motorways (as a passanger obvs) even if i cant pick them up in wu bc i'll waste SE/potions and then no rewards screen (anti-speed measure) bc of all the traffic (and therefore cell traffic as well).
cinemas if theyre multiplexes are also very good for spawns.
and yeah nia havent updated the map in this regard for approx. ~ 5-8 years now...
Wow! I thought we usually get more traces near fortresses, inns or greenhouses only which is why phone/internet provider was new news, but this is great! I do have a few malls nearby, if local rules allow, I'll surely hit them up. Thanks 🤗
Saw this question in another thread. Many seem to think that more traces appear in high traffic areas like Malls. Someone said Walmart parking lots are good. No problem with spawning for me but for areas where there are issues it would be great to know.
