Forum Issue

When I edit a comment multiple times (because, you know, I made a mistake and want to FIX it), my post disappears and it tells me my comment will be posted when it is approved. The last time it did this prior to today, it never posted. But, I simply retyped the post (actually had to do this twice) and it let me submit it and it appeared immediately.

Today, trying to reply to a previous bug report with a screen recording, it did the same thing (I edited twice, oh the horror!) and it disappeared saying it would be posted after being approved.

Figuring it was probably lost to the void again, I re-typed it and hit submit. Only to get the same message of it being approved (which I'll point out, it did NOT tell me when I made the initial bug post.

This behavior from the forums is entirely annoying. There's no point to it.

@HPWUblue just because you replied in the other thread (can I post a link to it here? Let's see how stupid the forums actually are)

So, this forum interface is probably the worst I've ever dealt with. You ask for screen recordings, but the forum doesn't support uploading them, and trying to link them simply says that the post will appear after it's approved (which I've never actually seen happen). Also, you ask for screen recordings, and some people posting here may be here for their first time with a bug, and the system won't let them post links until "they've been here a bit longer."

I try my best NOT to have to deal with these forums for these reasons. They're terrible.

@Raventhorpe Hi, thank you for your feedback, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. These forum rules are enforced to protect our genuine users and this platform from spam and unacceptable content. I realize that it might cause some inconvenience, especially to new users as you've explained. I should've shared the instructions on how to attach/ share the video recording/ link along with my request. I apologize for that.

PS: I've moved this thread to Community Forum Feedback section.
