Timezones
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like the hpwu team has no understanding concerning timezones. In Januari the community day had overlap with the Horntail event, and now they're running 60 hour events, which is unfair to timezones such as Europe who get 2 days + 12 hours during the night/covid curfews, while the US gets 2 days + 12 hours during the day.
Events should really either be based on local time, or a multitude of 24 hours.

its been mentioned but they seem impervious to it.
They (WU) seem lost & clueless on time zones. Local time, like Pogo, gets my vote!!!!!
Additionally, they need to pay a lot of attention and coordinate with both Pogo and Ingress on event timing. It’s not rockets science...
You wouldn’t think cross-team communication/co-ordination would be difficult…
The narcissa announcement is getting a lot of comments about this, but I'm not optimistic about actually getting a response from the hpwu team.
@TheWandInTheHat they wont coordinate, they may have the same platform (poi network from niantic) but other than that theyre seperate/different companies, and to a certain extend competing companies. Unlikes niantic has a clause in them giving access to poi network/platform which binds the diff. companies in coordinating on/in/with events I dont see WB caring abt either ingress or pogo.
Personally Id very much prefer if all events including CD were server (pacific time) w/o exclusions. Then everything starts and ends at same time.
