Spotlight: Emergency Foundables

Magical Mischief is in the air! Kick off this month by helping return a slew of Emergency Foundables that will be seen Friday, March 5 at 11 a.m. PT - Monday , March 8 at 11 a.m. PT.
During this event, you will see:
- An increased sighting of Ministry Employee Newt Scamander, Rubeus Hagrid, Tom Riddle, Professor McGonagall, Albus Dumbledore, Newt Scamander, Quidditch Captain Harry Potter, Hermione's Time-Turner, Whomping Willow, Horned Serpent, and Three-Headed Dog - and even more when Tonic For Trace Detection is active.
- Master Notes will reduce brew time for Dawdle Draught by 50%.
- Increased Butterscotch, Sopophorous Bean, and Valerian Root on the Map.

I like this type of Spotlight event. Now, if we could have a Brilliant Spotlight event with returning event foundables, that’d be fantastic

Witches and Wizards please note there will not be a task set for this spotlight event.
So you won't have an event button in lower right. If you don't see red flare spawns try a TTD.
Please tell me you’re getting the next update out before this event?! To fix the iOS purchasing issue?
...because you have to see how this event would be an extra slap in the face to users limping through with one cauldron, right?
And no way to replace the high energy and potion cost, even if we wanted to.
Isn’t nearly four months with this issue long enough to get a time estimate on a fix at least?
This is great! Will you have additional events and community day for March? If so, could you let us know the dates. It helps us plan out our month with family and coordinate with Pokemon Go Events. I know some people have to request off from work or move things around. The sooner you can let us know, the better. Thank you, keep up the great work!

Would have been great to have the flair issue fixed before you did an emergency “spotlight”. But then I guess 8 months isn’t too long of a time to leave a bug unfixed. I mean considering all the others that remain persistent.
It is now after 3:00 and this event has not started on my phone. The rest of the game is working as usual.
Is anyone else having this problem?
it had started to my area. just be ready to chug on extimulo potion if you dont want to waste spell energy.

Use a TTD to spawn the traces
@Reader74 there are no tasks or in game messages to show that the event has started. You will just see more red beans spawn, and even more with a TTD.
This is fun. Love seeing these severe traces I haven't seen in a while. Next time I will prepare better by doubling my store of Estimulo, so I don't have to keep making it on the fly. But man I'm wracking up SOS books.
I can’t see any sos assignment or any special assignments, is this a know issue?

The Spotlight Events don't have tasks. And there are no other events announced yet.
While I absolutely love the idea of this event the issue with the annoyingly forced on you animations absolutely kills it.

Although red bean spawns would be great if we could combine them with some rice spawns...
@Falenone the animations and graphics are what attracts and keeps me playing this game, except in Fortress challenges when speed is of the essence and every second counts.
Thank you very much HPWU team for the spotlight event. I finally have enough Horned Serpents to prestige to gold, and I am still earning more Ministry Manuals. If it wasn't for the fact that I have not been able to get more Snowdrops on the last couple of days, I would be playing a lot more. Thankfully, my ride home is coming tomorrow so I will be able to brew a lot more Exstimulo Potions. Thank you very much for this wonderful game. 😊

Sure. Just let me taptaptap on screen and not watch them and you can not taptaptap and play as you have so far
@Falenone I'm with @Djea, I don't see how the short animations **** the game as they only appear for a few seconds - I've probably returned about a hundred red beam traces this weekend and think I only missed out on one or two because it disappeared while I was returning another trace. The animation when you returned the foundable was annoying because that went for much longer but I think my fingers would get tired from tapping every time I cast a spell lol.
This event has been really fun. Nice to accumulate MOM manuals and I even advanced a level (56) with all the extra XP. The number of trunks from returning gold Emergency is also nice, replenishing trace charm and even a few spell books, since I recently upgraded trunks from the Adversary event.
I already have nearly ever page gold (still need Swooping Evil), so rewards are nice when placing stickies.
