Turn off item pick up animation and disable portkey pickup
It would be nice to have an option to simply pick up an ingredient or spell energy without the little exploding animation and the screen going dark. It slows down the game and gets annoying, particularly when picking up the seven single point spell energy items I get from the inn charm, or the harvest from a peak yielding greenhouse.
It would also be good if there was a switch to disable picking up portkeys, for example when trying to keep the vault clear ahead of an event.

Really nice idea, although in my case I’d probably forget about the switch for portkeys. Given they’re not something I’m picking up ALL THE TIME (unlike ingredients because I’m mainly a prof so trying to manage the current adversary debacle with potions) I wouldn’t mind a confirmation screen on them that says what the portkey is and an option to keep or leave. After all, trying to bring some internal consistency, a character would figure that out what they had either when seeing it or when it opened, not when put it in a satchel, where it then gets stuck until open. On the other hand... magic dontchaknow. :-)
An option to increase speed of ingredient pickup is wholly a plus, too.

*Developers, please give option to turn OFF the animations every time we pick up something off map!
When this game first began, these animations did not exist-which was great. Please, please let us have the choice to turn off.
They add them and think oh look how cool it is while not realizing we are forced to watch them day in and day out
