AT&T features?
Can someone please explain what is available from AT&T? There is an AT&T fortress near me, and it gives me the option to scan a QR code. I couldn't find one, and no one in the store had a clue. Is there anything other than merchandise to buy?

I'm at an AT&T store right now, and they have no clue either. We've looked on all the signage, the displays, the merchandise, and found no qr code.
have not tried going in to one yet
wondering if there might be a difference between corporate and franchise locations
I work at an AT&T corporate store. The offer is if you have service with a different service provider than AT&T and you come in and switch over then you will get a QR code to recieve $150 worth of in-game credits. The people at your store should have definitely known about this promotion. I am sorry they did not.
I’m curious why current AT&T customers don’t get anything...???
@Dogoutlaw I know! Where’s my reward for already being a faithful customer? Maybe I should switch to cricket to get their promotion 😜
Switching to Cricket will not count towards the promotion bc AT&T owns Cricket. I wish they would run more promotions for existing customers. Would make my job much easier lol
Lol sad thing is I just switched to At&t from Verizon about 3 months ago. Do you know if they give codes for adding internet to your home? Just moved and was already planning to go with At&t but the extra 150 in game would be a nice bonus.
Maybe you could ask to get the QR code retroactively because you're such a recent conversion?
It's just like PoGo and switching to Sprint. Current Sprint customers got nothing. It is a marketing toll after all.
@Glimmermir that would be nice but somehow I doubt it lol
Be nice if they gave you a monthly bonus when you pay your bill for being a loyal customer but like everything else in the private sector all the incentives are tailored to getting them in the door rather than keeping them there.
Unfortunately it only counts for wireless service and not home internet. And getting the code retroactively only works if it was within the last 14 days.
The point of sponsorship is to attract new customers, so it makes sense that existing customers get nothing. Still, I think if WB/Niantic and AT&T could work out a deal where existing customers received a small monthly in-game reward, those customers would brag about it to other players, which would encourage players who currently subscribe to other carriers to switch to AT&T. If that wouldn't work because there's no way to keep the WU player database synced up with AT&T's wireless customer database, here's another idea. WU players who are existing AT&T customers can send a referral code to another WU player. If that player signs up for AT&T wireless service using that referral code, both the existing customer and the new customer receive an in-game reward. Everybody wins!
Or your monthly bill comes with a qr code.
To THEREALHP55, my local store had no clue either, and I went in twice. They said that this happened with the GOT sponsorship as well. They get a shipment of stuff, but no explanation. I think you have a widespread issue.
I just wish my AT&T store had a fortress. Sorry I drifted off topic.
at&t store personnel at my local mall are next to useless - they did not even know that their location was converted from sponsored inn to sponsored fortress, and i suspect they don’t know the difference
that conversion, by the way, totally nuked the entire location. no need for me to play at a cluster of three fortresses with inns not close enough to conveniently access ... whereas the sponsored inn nicely fed players going to the original two fortresses
