Gift opening limit

I seriously cannot understand why there is a 20 gift opening limit per day. What is the point in having a max of 200 friends if you can only open a certain about of gifts per day. Sure I can send all that I want but if those people have a bunch of friends too it will take forever to get one back.

    All games have such limits, if you could open 200 gold gifts a day youd never have to buy gold coins again, if you could open 200 potents a day youd never have to buy potions or ingredients or brewing time again, same w healings (essential rune gifts), and so on.


    I'd very much be positive towards being able to extend those like:


    for 100 gold x10 more gifts space in vault can buy up to 100 total or 200 (so a total of 130 or 230) for 200 gold x10 more gifts per day opened can buy up to 100 (so if you have 200 friends you can open them all daily) for 500 gold you can send x10 more gifts, can buy up to 100 (so you can send to 200 ppl instead of 100) for 1 gold you can raise the 100 daily found by 1, can buy up to 1000

    then id have some small reason to want 200 ppl in list.



    But I doubt they'd ever implement anything like that, I know a few ppl who think having to send or open 20-40-100-200 gifts a day is too much b/c theyre casuals and they dont pick up that many gifts and its too much time spent in gifts. Also you know the 20 is b/c of covid yeah? pre-covid (and im guessing post-covid once that happens) it was 10. I'm not sure if dev team has said 20 will remain after or if we'll not return to 10 at some point.


    The point of the 200 ppl in list atm is 2 fold:


    1. if you have a local community w a lot of ppl that you can fortress with (or not local but discord community to do so)
    2. gifts: you can receive 200 and strategise how to open them, open only the ones you need per day, ie: today healings, tmrw wits, day after gold and potents and so on, and yeah to open 200 in 20/day youll need 20 days for all w no repeats.


    So, keep in mind that in a few months we may return to 10, and enjoy the 20 b/c I doubt it'll open up to more than 20.

    Keep it realistic- nobody is going to ever get 200 gold gifts per day! More likely is having inventory choked up with 200 energy gifts that don’t get opened because energy is full


    Going back to 10 per day would ensure that anyone sending energy or ingredient gifts may as well be deleted, because those would never get opened

    they get deleted now. Both gifts and ppl who send such cr a p.
