Required brew a Baruffio's
This is a bad task. If you happen to have the ingredients it takes too long. If you don't have them you're screwed.
Would have been passable if the complimentary gift had these ingredients, but they were only Tonic for trace detection.

the tasks have been known for over a week, ingredients are easy to gather and the potion has been brewed half a day ago....just clicked it and task done.
Good for you! For those of us who are not as lucky, the simple fix of including the components for the task in the complimentary gift would be a big help.
Luckily I started brewing a Barufio's some hours before the event started without realizing that it would. When I realized it, I thought: Bummer, now I have to wait for this to complete before starting the TTD that are commonly needed. I was pleasantly surprised, when I saw the list of tasks :)
Still, I agree with @Littletombombad to some extent: I'm fine with it requiring that long to brew for a task, no problem there.
But if you need to get the ingredients first (assuming you happen to be a new player), this is a bit too much. You'd have to plant leaping toadstools (which requires 24h to grow), and then walk potentially a lot of portkeys to get the dragon stuff. So, yeah, I agree that they should certainly put the required ingredients into the gift here...
Also, @Drakonite , re "the tasks have been known for a week": Well, you could know the tasks for a week. However, most players probably do not want to do internet research to play a game (I often do, this time I didn't. My wife never does...), in particular since there are no in-game announcements.
So, while it is fine that you can prepare for something, I think the diffculty of the task should be judged based on the assumption that you do not know which tasks will await you. And ideally based on a player that started playing this game just minutes before the event started.
dont do 'internet research' (visit orange wizard's instagram account where he posts all of tasks, such a time consuming thing to do), or do. Dont and dont complain, do and dont have need.
@Drakonite: Not complaining, just providing some feedback on a new task. I don't know of anybody that found the task hard. That said, I still think that this could be an overly tricky task for new players specifically (this is a general issue with several tasks).
And I feel "You could have known in advance" isn't a valid argument in this context. Ok, completely hyperbolic example of course, but assume that brewing BBE would take 5 days, would you still say that that is ok because you could have prepared for that 6 days in advance by checking some external source?
There are a lot of ppl amongst the playership that dont want to know the tasks before hand and in the past 19ish months of the game's existence have been very loud and very vocal about it to the Community Managers and the dev team. Which is why, I'm guessing, the dev team created what is called the "NDA Group" aka a group of influencers and/or youtubers etc that disseminate such info, either through yt vids or through infog's. etc and why probably we will never see the tasks before-hand in-game even if/when they (Devs) fix the sos newspaper thingy.
Same group of ppl would also not like to know the monthly schedule, but that was posted. They consider it spoilers, I think that's too much but ok they can play however they like.
Having said that, yes if BBE brewing time was 5 days and I knew it at 6 id think it ok bc Id have seen it externally, your argument isnt valid. Mine is, I prepare so that I dont find myself unprepared. The "i dont want to prepare so give me the ingreds" isn't a valid argument, yours isn't. Don't want to look externally? Fine. I don't want bbe ingredients in the free gift either.
Beyond that, I dont want to see more ingredients I find dime a dozen on the map in the free gift, it was posts/comments like this one in discord and other sources that 'made' the devs make the free gift useless and pointless for me to collect by adding ttd ingredients in it, and while I understand ppl use ttd/bbes and not all have an abadance of the ingreds on the map, I think that adding the ingreds in the/a free gift is a completely lazy thing from the devs, rather than fixing the source of the prob they just add some scraps in a gift and call it a day. Result is I've not collected a free gift in months (BE/CD) b/c then I have to go and delete all the ttd ingredients from my vault which I'll otherwise never need or use.
Potent/gold gifts, potents, strong extims, gold, vault expansions, SE, runes, essential/extravagant rune gifts, that's the stuff I'd LOVE to see in a free gift even if in small quantities.
FIX. IN. GAME. ANNOUNCEMENTS.
Or disable them in the country that they are breaching the laws.
@Drakonite - totally agree on the uselessness of the free store pack. Can we have some variety?
