If WU is unable to fix Adventure Sync why don't you remove the .25 kilometer from the daily tasks? That way those of us who don't wander around in COVID land can finish our dailies.
0.25 km is 250 meters. I open the game and carry my phone in my pocket when I walk around the house; most days I get my 250 meters without doing anything special.
If your apartment is so tiny that you aren't walking 250 meters a day I suspect that walking a few laps around it will do you more good than a few Charms.
I walk 15k steps a day in my house (over 5 miles). Even with the program open it does not count my steps. That is what Adventure Sync was supposed to do and WU is taking their own sweet time fixing it.
@STUGG53 Same! (Well, I don't walk quite that much.) Before Adventure Sync broke, it counted walking around my house, now it doesn't. I had it down.... 5 laps around my house was 0.25km.
I gave up on adventure sync. Running on threadmill with Google fit used to allow the distance to be synced in game and open up the portkeys. Now it doesn't anymore, unless I walked the actual distance outside with the game on. I have no way of opening my portkeys as I am stuck in lockdown at home.
@Stugg53 same here! My house is roughly 1500 square feet and I can walk from one end to the other with the game open and it will not show any movement whatsoever. I'm never able to open portkeys unless I get lucky enough to ride to the grocery store with my husband and I can talk him into making a couple slow laps around the parking lot! 😂 Seriously though, they need to fix this. I've had several of the same portkeys for MONTHS trying to get them opened.
Same. I have my sync on. It used to count my steps. Now, it doesn't anymore. It's seriously annoying. It prevents me from getting my daily rewards. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. And game developers do nothing. They don't even compensate you for lost rewards. I don't even try contacting them anymore. I don't play as much as I used to. They don't care about their players.

I'm on major covid lockdown, but I still get .25 k in just by wandering around my house, getting the mail, etc.
