Please change the CD start time to 11 AM PT
Lately, Community Days have not been free of bugs. Using local time to start CDs seems a major cause. Please just use 11 AM PT that is used as the start time for most events.
One large problem is that fortresses do not always yield the promised rewards. For many, the fortress parts of the CDs require the use of the knight bus and, as a result, people from different time zones are forced to play together. Consequently, not everybody plays with the CD active, which causes problems with rewards.
Furthermore, event bugs cause players in, for example, New Zealand, but also further to the west, to frequently lose an hour or more of event playtime. (The current event bugs probably lead to a loss of up to a third of the total event time).
It would also be easier for you to staff the start of these events, hopefully leading to faster bug fixes.

I love this idea! We all still get 24 hours and easier to put teams together in knight bus!
Why not 12pm UTC?
Changing the start time doesn’t affect teams in the fortresses. I’d still be playing in the UK at UK daytime and you’ll still be playing in the US at US day time etc.
As a former PoGo player, fixed event starts only meant that players in or near the start meridian got to play the event first and those of us with fewer players near our time zones still struggled to find enough players to meet the challenges...
If having a fixed start point would help with bugs and issues, great. But move it around the globe so it isn’t always the same players who have the advantage and thrill of being able to play first.
@DelphiniaTrucle the issue here isn't whether or not players in certain time zones have a harder time finding other players in the Knight Bus. The issue is that when a community day includes fortress rewards, those rewards only apply when the first player to enter the lobby is currently in community day in their local time zone. Because of the staggered start times it's fairly common for a player in one time zone where the community day is active to join a chamber started by a player in a time zone where community day is over, and therefore not get the rewards.
For example, I'm in the US. If I go on the bus on Saturday night (before midnight, so it's still community day for me), but I enter a lobby created by someone in Australia (where it's already Sunday, so community day is over) there will be no guaranteed fragment. Since there's no way fore to know when I join if I'll get the bonus or not, it can cause frustration.
@TalathF's proposed solution causes the event to start and end at the same time for everyone, removing this confusion.
Having lost 6 hour on January Community Day ( I'm from Australia) I agree so much with your comments.
Also if it's our Com Day and we join a fortress and that person is not in Com day, we miss out on guarantee foundables... You situation in reverse.
So often we seen to be the Test Bunnies for the game events because the Events start in New Zealand and then Australia and we report the stuff up that are then fixed for Europe, UK and USA.
