I can't tell you how many times I heard the information that all professions have equal ability to fight the main adversary in the chain on the same level and profession doesn't play a part. Clearly that was either written by someone who has never played the game or they want to mislead the player base. I am a level 60 auror with level 13 adversary tree. Because my chosen profession is auror, i have less health than other classes. Clearly a health advantage is gained by not being an auror. Either you need to up player health to be equal or you need to limit adversaries to no more than two attacks.

Getting hit 4 or 5 times in a row by a dragon while blocking the ability to heal is not a challenge, it is a slaughter of game fun. This is severely killing the fun of this event to keep losing dragons to bad coding. Please fix the adversaries.

it's done that way on purpose. either you're an auror who has to keep buying potions or professor who needs to keep upping energy. they aren't even trying to hide it anymore. I'm doing slightly more damage as an auror four lessons in but that hardly matters when it gets to keep hitting until you're almost dead. blew through all potions and so much energy between adversaries and dark v battles trying to get more red books.

Once left feedback as professor that is very difficult and lengthy to fight anniversaries. Yes, we have slightly bigger stamina, but it takes ages to overcome even Draco. My wife playing magizoologist is in the best place for this type of quests. Max damage among us and max stamina - she can be finishing second adversary while I am still fighting the first one

Magizoologist are the best for adversaries. Not only do they do more damage than Professors, but they have a much higher survivability than Aurors.

magiz isnt the best, that's a gross over-simplification for either forts or adversaries...

magiz can do almost all chains w/o potions but at the severe expense of SE, like 300-400 PER chain depending on the chain/archfoe.

aurors: need less exstims/wits but (POTENTIALLY) more healing potions than the other 2 proffesions.

professor: need less healings than auror but more extims/wits.

Personally I'm an auror in advers. I've not got the patience to need to hit something 30-40+ times or waste more extims than needed, healings are 'free' (in gifts) and a lot more frequent than potents.

Having all 10 feared nodes these are my notes (and I've fought enough of them for these to be accurate, all pages are in bronze at least and all 3 event pages (Draco, Fenrir & Hungarian Dragon) are placed/stared on gold, I've finished auror tree (15/15) have 8/15 on prof and magiz and have finished all DADA nodes (except for Clarion Call which is blocked behind rsb node atm) in all 3 sos trees):

Draco: 100% potionless, most times I'll defeat him w/o having less than 50% stamina.

Fenrir: potionless possible depending on how many crits I do and how many of his attacks I dodge, may need one healing potion.

Lockheart: 1 strong extim, nothing else required, with enough crits you can have 1 charge remaining when he is defeated.

Basilisk: 1 wit and 1 strong, with enough crits you don't need a healing. 2nd guardian may or may need 1 healing depending on how many crits I do.

Aragog: 2nd guardian may need a healing, may not. Aragog herself needs 1 wit & 1 strong, no healing.

Peter: guardians are a joke, almost 1-2 shot-able. Peter needs 1 strong & 1 wit, no healing.

Norwegian: 3 headed dog (2nd guardian may need a healing), Dragon is a nuisance as he shakes a lot, but if you do an upside down triangle and keep your circle a little ahead of dragons you'll succeed more times than not. Dragon needs 1 potent and 1 wit and no healing. Or 2 strongs 2 wits and potentially 1 healing depending on crits & my dodging his attacks (or not).

Ukranian ironbelly: 1 potent 1 wit, no healing, or 2 strongs 2 wits and 1 healing. Mummy (2nd guardian) almost never needs 1 healing.

Hungarian Horntail: Pain in the behind for aurors but managable. Sphinx will need 1 healing more times than not, Dragon needs 1 potent & 1 wit with 2-3 charges of potent left for next chain, or 1 full strong and 1-2 wits. With potent I may need 1-2 healings, with strong i'll need 2 for sure maybe 3. My strategy during the event and whenever I find him wild is to never let my stamina go below 50% EVER, for no reason whatsoever. So my rounds with this adver go something like this:

    1. I attack
    2. he attacks, hit lands, I have 216/296 stamina.
    3. I attack
    4. he attacks, hit lands. i have 160/296 stamina.
    5. I heal, then attack. I have full stamina again.
    6. if im lucky these 3 have been crits, dragon is either dead or has 3 stamina or something, I attack dragon is dead.

If between 2 and 3 or 5 and 6 he does an attack chain (more than 1 attacks back to back) and I don't dodge some/most of them I use more healing(s), so that health is not allowed to be below 50% after my next attack. Usually with all 10 feared nodes and a potent that's never really an issue, I've rarely needed 7, 8. 9 etc. After 3-4 attacks of mine (sometimes I may attack back to back as well, especially at 1st attack so that can lead to needing 0-1 healings) he is defeated.

Narcissa: She dodges like there's no tomorrow, has small circle, but can't really defeat me...: There's various diff. strategies an auror can use against her, my suggestion is AVOID her until you have all 10 feared nodes, otherwise before I got the final nodes she'd attack me 10-20 times in a row. Now she may dodge me 3-4 times in a row. So I usually do a strong invig & 1 wit, land as many strikes as I can on her, then do the rest of her stamina w/o extim/wits. May need 1-# healings depending on how many times we dodge each other. If I use a potent and wit and she doesnt dodge them away, it's 4 potent charges. If I use no extims then its more attacks and at least 2-3 healings.

If you have patience go for magiz, their stamina and defense means you can do most chains w/o potions, but it does mean you'll be wasting SE by the hundreds. Friend of mine who did Narcissa as a magi w/o extims:

I fought Narcissa with another acct as a MZ with all the skills. Painful! It took 19 attacks and a health potion to get her below 1/2 health. 31 attacks (me to her) total, plus 2 health potions to defeat her.

31 attacks, vs auror with successful undodged potent+wit is 4 attacks.

Other adversaries who dont dodge means you may not have to use healings, but more attacks means more SE (2 guardians + archfoe). I think I've heard ppl saying they needed a grand total of 200+ attacks for some of the dragons or 300+, that's 200-300 SE.

If I want to simplify or tl;dr my notes:

Auror: 1 extim+ wit, 0-6 healings per chain, 3-4 SE per chain.

Magiz: 0 extims+wit, 0-3 healings, lots of SE per chain.

Prof: 2-4 extims+wit, 0-2 healings, more SE than auror, less than Magi per chain.

So think which resources you have more in abundance and choose what's best for you.

does ALL basic stats counts on adversaries? e.g. Precision 35%+35% when foe has 100% stamina for Auror or just 20% for Magi?

IMO it counts only on guards

guardians are proficient/not really deficient to the 3 classes, archfoes are 'neutral' to all 3 BUT while auror and magiz have some passive abilities/skills enabled like dancing with dummies or become the beast etc, professor only has the 2 enchantments and is missing FMH and the 3 impairments and 1-2 more things that'd make him full power (149 base damage if not mistaken and higher defense). So he becomes the worst of the 3 for most, also auror has def. against dark forces/death eaters for stuff that arent like dragons, basilisk etc (except for Hungarian Dragon) which greatly increase his defense, otherwise probs most things would 2-3 shot an auror, much like the Hungarian can, or worse.

Every job has difference HP, attack and defense, however, these difference get balanced out with hex and charm spells. I think adding the hex and charm spells to adversaries and maybe oddities could help balance out the game and make it more fun.

that means having a team, weaken and/or confusion wont do nothing to a professor when s/he/they dont have the auror to put them on foes. Similarly auror wont have det hex w/o a prof. and magiz only has brv but neither of the other three w/o prof and/or auror.

my guess is devs wont add the impairments in overworld map (oddities, advers etc) instead at some point they'll release new fort profession plans which will increase all base stats (accuracy, precision, stamina, defense, power, crit. power, proficient/deficient power etc) plus give out some new/more charms/hexes/curses. Increasing the base stats will make overworld map things currently in existence easier for everyone. Which thereafter will prompt for more oddities and/or adversaries that'll be as tough as things are now but for 2nd profession maxed and so on and so forth...
