Feature Request: Visually distinguish Portkey Portmanteau types

Portkey Portmanteau's are only subtly different in inventory and are identical while on the ground. Because we cannot delete portmanteau's, it's possible to get a full bag of undesired portmanteaus.

With only one gold key, some players only want 2k Portkeys so they will have a chance to boot around more often.

Another player might want to splurge on some keys and cherry-pick 10k portkeys to get the most bang for the buck.

When events come up, a player can put in time to clear out their inventory to make room for a brilliant portmanteau... and get another common type that they now need to clear out the hard way. At the least, it would be nice if event portmanteaus would get the purple aura.

Buying silver keys to clear out the portkeys and buying them again to unlock the brilliant ones are, unfortunately, the way they want it to be.

Portmanteaus are egg equivalent from PoGo. In PoGo we have no choice about what eggs we get (except for 7km which we can only get from friends). So I doubt they will change this mechanism for WU.

In Pokemon Go incubators have three uses each... Are they going to make keys worth the cost?

With regards to silver keys, it seems easier to get silver keys in WU than to get incubators in PoGo.

For example, the daily rewards have some keys in there and also foundables occassionally drop silver keys. Some achievements also awards silver keys. Iirc each level up also awards some keys.

Compared to PoGo, incubators with 3 uses can only be purchased with gold. Any reward incubators can only be used once as well.

So on the whole, I think there's no issue here.

Granted, I never spent any money on PoGo and don't plan to spend any in WU so my experience is limited by that.

I will note that it would also be nice to be able to distinguish portkeys themselves. I tried to save a brilliant portkey for today's event but the only way to tell an opened portkey apart is to activate it and then run away if the portal looks wrong. I managed to accidentally go through the one I was saving while trying to clear a 2k boot. For some reason they don't just stay in your inventory in hatch order, or distance order. You just have to play boot routlette.

@CytopeAchen I’m in love with idea! In the books, many different types of items could be portkeys. It would be amazing if they used different pictures so we knew what we are opening up!

The one thing I could see them having a problem with is the animations are all set up using a boot you place down on the floor...but I can’t inagine it would be impossible to create some other versions of portkeys we could see in the AR+ mode.

I thought it was only me who couldn't tell these apart because I'm color blind, until I saw others start to complain. Personally, it doesn't bother me that I can't tell the 2K, 5K, or 10K apart. Some parts of the game should be luck of the draw, and I think it's fitting for the portkey portmanteau to fall into this category. However, I do think it makes sense for Brilliants to be discernable from the rest, just like Brilliant Foundables. The idea proposed by @CytopeAchen is also very cool.
