Harry has misunderstood the owner of Pensieve?

This is a question about the backstory.
When we place the image of BRILLIANT PENSIVE on BRILLIANT HEADMASTER'S OFFICE page for the first time, Harry tells us
This was Dumbledore's personal Pensieve.
But according to wizardingworld.com (former Pottermore,) J. K. Rowling explains:
The Hogwarts Pensieve, however, belongs not to any individual but to the school.
(Quotation from https://www.wizardingworld.com/writing-by-jk-rowling/pensieve )
On the assumption that Pottermore is correct, Harry should have misunderstood where (or, to whom) the Pensieve belongs. Because Harry MUST NOT TELL LIES.
My question is, can we conclude Harry's misunderstanding? Or, his dialogue is an error to be corrected?
I'd appreciate your opinions.

Who are you going to trust, Harry Potter or a publisher website?
I sus @SwampRatUK 😄
Harry's mistake makes perfect sense. This sounds like something that Harry would say and then Hermione would immediately correct him.
