Hanging when fighting dark wizard

At fortress battles, when it's up to a dark wizard the screen goes dark and indicates loading scene. I've restarted the game and phone and it still keeps happening. Then it still counts it as a defeated battle when the character won't even load.
Did anyone else have this problem? How'd you fix it?

Hey Lilith ive had the same problem for a couple weeks now. Ive wasted a fair amount of energy and runes trying to complete challenges just to have a dark wizard pop up and stop me from continuing. Really need the bug fixed as its taking a fun game and making it rather annoying. Hopefully they fix it soon!
If I was having this problem I would reinstall the app and download the assets again. If I was on Android I would clear the storage as well. I'm unsure what the equivalent on iPhone would be. Last time I did this I lost my portrait, so download it first so you can import it.
