Wit Sharpening Gifts Were Far Too Rare

I just 'finished' the weekend. After hours of ****, including spending the last hour of the weekend driving around hitting as many inns and greenhouses as possible, I got 2 of the required 3 gifts to complete the tasks. I completed all of the other tasks long before the deadline. I used all of my Edible Dark Marks and completed dozens of Adversary chains. I returned scores of Foundables. I did everything humanly possible, and yet I only gathered 2 of the 3 required gifts.
I am angry and disappointed. Rather than being a game and a release, this has only heightened my anxiety.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE US TASKS MAKE **** SURE ITS POSSIBLE TO FINISH THE TASKS! Just leaving it up to a RNG is ****.

I will to all the above. I also failed due to 1 missing gift which I worked at for 2 days to get. I hit 10 different greenhouses. Used charms whenever I could. This got me 1 of 3. I got one from an adversary event. After doing at least 12 of them and using every potion available and putting $12 into the game to be able to continue.
I have spent hours in combat with at least 75 rune stones in all varieties and and in all levels of combat. I failed to get that 1 item. I am not happy about all the effort only to lose. I am frustrated with something that is supposed to distract me and provide some fun in this pandemic word. You failed. You the event planner that clearly doesn’t know how to do there job. But I cannot change this with my comments above. I can swear to never give Niantic, WB Games, Portkey games any of my money ever again. This game is now deleted from my phone. If more of you do this. Like or respond so they get the message. Our money is the only power we have over shoddy work like this.
Collect Wit Sharpening Gifts...This aspect of the challenge was a complete disappointment. Every task done Something in our region? Not agreenhouse or fortress would produce. Not great pandemic fun
