I picked up all the ingredients for the wit and the adversary challenge for this weekend Friday through Monday or Tuesday. I've updated the game in all that that's another problem with this stupid game it does attaching too much that my phone is expensive and I can't even that's another story anyway back to the situation I've picked up the ingredients off for ingredients from the ground for this event for this challenge for the wit potion and today is Sunday in his 5:16 p.m. Eastern standard time December the 20th of 2020 and it still has my giving me the whole that challenge so I'm gonna lose all these things that come with a challenge because Problem bug whatever it is an antic is excuses is nowEscalation point
I've already obtained ingredients for this days ago and it will not give it to me so thank you Niantic screwed up estimation point out by the way the wit potion for the this event is hilarious is pathetic it doesn't work thank you so much have a great evening!!!!!!!!!

you are not supposed to pick up ingredients off the map. You are supposed to get/find GIFTS from either challenges (knight bus/ fort pois) or Greenhouses to send to others in your friend's list.
@Sly14kt I think you misunderstood the task.
You don't need to pick up ingredient you need to find 3 Wit sharpening GIFTS.
You can find those gift ONLY by doing Wizarding Challenges OR bu collecting plant in greenhouses.
You NEED to have space in your gift space in order to be able to receive them.
To check you gift space you need to click on the friend icon (bellow left corner, above your picture) then click on the tab "Gifts to send" bellow right corner. In there you need to delete gifts to make a lot of space (since you will need a lot of attempt before you can get even 1 wit sharpening gift) Note that you will have to come back here and make space a lot of time.
Note also that you can only receive 100 gifts per day. So If you don't get all 3 necessary gifts before you reach this limit the task will be IMPOSSIBLE to complete before the end of the event
