I have been stuck in my sos assignment for formidable pixies. They want 10! When i barely got 1. I had gone to different fortresses, with different levels but i still got none😭😭 is there any special requirement?
That assignment was a challenge, for sure. You just have to keep at it. I will say that I seemed to get more at night and with level 2 and 3 runes. It could have just been luck, but who knows. LOL
I'm playing a professor, so it's harder for me to see, but I'm told professors see more pixies, so bringing one along on challenges may help.
My big frustration was that it had to be formidable (2 star) pixies, and I fought a lot of common (1 star) and imposing (3 star) pixies waiting for the elusive formidable to turn up. I think they should change missions like that to include higher difficulty enemies, so imposing, dangerous, and fierce pixies would also count. That would be much less aggravating.
@Glimmermir Well i dunno who i need to bring along. As far as i know i am the only player around, and my friend refuse to play. Yes, you are right! I fought imposing pixies more, and still didn't see the formidable ones.
This one took me a long time to complete. I'm a lvl 27 Professor and I found my best chances of seeing them were **** the level 3 in the tower. I can't swear to that as fact, but that's what eventually worked for me though I still didn't see them even close to every time or anything, but they seemed more common than other levels. Which Runestone didn't seem to matter either but again, I can't swear to that.

I finally got my fifth doxy this morning for this assignment. After rushing through the assignments to get to the werewolves by full moon, I’m not in a hurry for the rest of it. @Glimmermir I agree, dawn is waaaaay too early! 😂😂 😴
Well good thing i am more active in the summer, i went around a lot so when the bus was slowinh down i could hop into any foryress nearby to catch some pixy. Now i'm in 7 pixies, 3 more to go.
Good luck for your doxy hunting guys 👍 i dunno how i would do that then 🤣 I more of early morning sleeper, early noon riser 😅😅
It’s funny how many times I see the FP now I’m past that task. Yes, I’m a professor, so I get the odds are in my favor, but when you want to find them quick, they’re nowhere to be seen.
In case it helps encourage anyone struggling with the FP’s, the task after the doxies asks to defeat 10 formidable death eaters. I’m guessing that one will be easier for the aurors.

@Calondywyll ive found exactly the same, i think o was stuck for over 4 wk on the pixies! Then stayed in higher chambers & got them, ever since...ive been getting about 2 every time!! Really just adds insult to injury lol!!
I think i might have missed my chance for the werewolves? None appeared last night tho i kept checking, and no doxies at dawn either- im pretty much an insomniac so chances are il b awake at various points but doesnt help!
If anyone still looking for pixies as an auror, i got mine : LVL8, L5 DA rune, - LVL7, L3 & 3x L1 runes, LVL6, 3x L3, 2x L2, 3x L1 runes= 16 formidable pixies now lol.

I am an Auror and have been stuck on this SOS challenge for awhile now. I am currently at 7 out of 10, so I am nearly there.
I have the ability to really stick to something and grind it out. Even so, this has been rough.
It will feel quite rewarding when I am past this.

will echo the difficulty with this one too, took almost two weeks to complete using L3 fortress and L1 runes

I'm less aggravated about this hurdle though, becuase it's my own fault for wanting to stay in bed as long as possible.

As frustrating as some of these are I appreciate the added difficulty, makes it seem more like an Achievement when you finally collect it.

Oh i missed out a formidable pixie in LVL10, L5 Hogwarts School rune 😊
Took me 112 battles in Ruin 5 as an auror. Got 2 together in the very next battle, and finished one day late for any werewolves.
The RNG loves me.
