Are there plans to balance the professions regarding adversaries ?
Yesterday, I (as a professor) could compare my performance on adversaries with my wife (auror).
Here are the numbers against the final opponents... This is with the 8 levels in Advanced Adversarial Combat that don't require DADA books...
Professor :
Normal attack = 63
Crit attack = 132
Crit percentage = roughly 50%
Average attack = (63*50+132*50)/100 = 97.5 damage
Auror :
Normal attack = 91
Crit attack = 199 (more on first attack)
Crit percentage = roughly 75%
Average attack = (91*25+199*75)/100 = 172 damage
And in the facts (with the use of potions), it was even worse than that. On more than 30 adversaries, my wife used less than the half of energy of what I used (and the same proportion in time needed to defeat them) and I also had to use much more potions.
How is this balanced ?!?
With the Advanced Adversarial Combat trees, Niantic had the possibility to balance the professions for those combats. They could also have added some specificities to each profession but instead of that the trees are identical and do nothing to reduce the problem that exists on oddities for ages...
On the contrary, since the apparition of the SOS tree, two of our passives were always active and our normal attack went up from 79 to 96 (still weaker than other professions, but better than before). But 63 damage (even if some potions are active), where does that come from ?
Are there plans to balance the professions regarding adversaries or should every professor change profession and just switch back to professor for fortresses ?

As magizoo, my damage is close to professor damage (i think normal damage below 70).
Positif side for magiz its just not easy to die when facing multi attack in a row.
And from the new lesson there is no sign for balancing, i think its better to give a profession a "trait", maybe for auror its about the enemy like its in the lesson, and professor maybe have a more buff from potions, and magizoo maybe something about self stat.
Adversaries should exist inside the Fortress mechanic so that we could use our combat spells IMO. That would help. But otherwise, I agree. Making all of the skill tree items identical for all professions was lazy and a missed opportunity. (Note: I am an Auror - and while we should absolutely do more damage than other professions, Profs should fall in between Aurors and Magizoo’s for damage).
Professor is second class citizen in the wizarding united world. Period.
