Wizard challenge screen is locked

Was in a wizard challenge. Defeated last enemy and the app rebooted. Now when I go in to wizard challenge screen is frozen. Also potions do not apply to traces and I can’t increase SOS skills. I get “ unable to connect to server”. I have tried deleting app and reinstalling to no avail.
