Just downloaded the update. I was super excited to start on my new lessons in my auror profession. But it's telling me the new lessons are locked until I finish the previous book.... I am finished!!!

But please, fix the stupid blackout that is totally ruining the game experience!
Over and over and over changing language and restarting the app after checking a discord message, an email, changing spotify playlist... Going back to HPWU and hitting the black screen again... So many times I just close the game, as the joy of playing gets killed.
Different profession, but same problem as Halfbloodshun.

@MUMHIGGLEBEE you wont be able to do anything in the new plans until everyone's updated and they unlock the new features, I'm guessing at the start of the adversaries event in 7ish days.
Since multiple people are failing to read previous posts... and apparently some replies are taking forever to post.

The new skill tree will be there with 2.16.0 update, but may only be available once the Adversaries feature is launched.
So do we know when Adversaries will launch? I read down but didn’t see that. Also, if the tree doesn’t launch until adversaries does, they should change the wording on the tree to not available yet..it is very confusing.
best guess is in 7ish days during the 1st adversary event, after anyone who's not updated is force-updated.
new bug with 2.16, challenge fragments in forts are not always dropping now

So what does lvl 15 mean? Does it mean that we have to be lvl 15 in all professions?
Or this situation is just a bug? Or maybe the feature has not been activated yet?
Super excited about the update and can't wait for the new combat tree to actually go live! But I swear if I have to be congratulated for enabling my adventure sync after EVERY capture, I'm going to avada kedavra someone. Please, for the love of my sanity, fix this.
@TheEverLiving I think it means that you can fight with any opponent from level 15 as a player level, no matter what profession you have.
@TheEverLiving , @Doztem level 15 was from before we had a combat score. Level 15 means you’ve completed one full lesson plan I believe.
@TheEverLiving , @JProto85 If so, what sense does it make to put old requirements in a modern update? It would be easier if they had put the first lesson completed to face the new adversaries. I still think that level 15 refers to the player level because I currently have level 33 as a teacher and I have not finished all the lessons therefore I understand how I pass level 15 I can face new opponents even though I have not yet completed the first teacher lesson.
Ok, I'm beyond ticked off about the changes to Adventuresyynch on Android phones. Apparently, instead of just pulling from Google like it did before, it now needs full location permissions ALL THE TIME. Seriously?? Did you seriously think we forgot about the privacy issues when the game first came out where it tracked locations without people knowing and now we just have to trust you'll be responsible with this? I'm furious you would tuck something like that into the first major new feature to the game since launch.
Well the new XP spell gift is still being treated as a spell gift, can’t open it.
What's up with the changes to Adventure Sync? I'm sure they're trying to keep folks from "cheating" to get their steps, but in the middle of a global pandemic is not the time to encourage people to go out more. It's also punishing folks who actually do exercise at home or would like to limit how many companies are tracking their movements.

I believe should not be seeing "Complete Previous book to Unlock" on Advanced Adversarial Combat

@MELEWEN I agree. Over the last months, I've been able to walk laps around my house and have that count for portkeys and the daily task, since I'm not supposed to go anywhere. It's actually kept me more physically active at home than I normally would be. Now this morning, that's not working. It's super frustrating and I hope it's fixed soon.

The amount of DADA books needed is crazy!
Couple of more bugs / defects I noticed till now, and which haven't been mentioned before I think - most are only visual;
Both buttons seem to be unresponsive when clicked. I had to restart the game when my GPS started drifting (again).
Tonic for Trace Detection icon doesn't show any more when encountering a confoundable.
The XP counter seems incorrect, like it is missing a line in the summary.
Back again, the HPWU icon is replaced by the default Android icon
Far worse though..... the Trace Charm has been nerved even further 😖
I guess this one falls in the category 'bug fix' though....
I am also extremely upset about the change to AdventureSynch. I have only been able to open portkeys for the past six months largely because I have been able to log steps on my treadmill. It's even pushed me to become MORE active - "Just two more minutes til I pop another port key, I can do that."
The way that it is now, I won't be opening hardly any port keys from now on. Really reduces the quality of my experience and ability to complete events.
Also guess I can say goodbye to ever finishing the daily assignments...
I downloaded the update and new assets and now adventure sync isn't working. I tried turning it off and on again, but no distance after an hour on the treadmill 🙁 Any suggestions?
@Trinitey they changed it so it is now based on location and not steps, so all of us that were being safe and exercising inside to get our steps are now screwed. Because it makes total sense to force us outside in the middle of a pandemic. Come on @hpwulola this is really messed up.
No intentional change was made to Adventure Sync, but we are investigating reports of it not working correctly after 2.16.0 update for Android devices. I'll provide an update if we come up with troubleshooting tips or have a solution! @Trinitey @Klc5048
