Why are there no Black or Asian adult OCs?

Love to hear your thoughts on this WU fans.

At Hogwarts we rescue black and Asian students from the Calamity, but we never help a Black or Asian witch or wizard return an object. All the dark magic folk are White as are all the MOM characters who give guidance through the game. It's a bit weird. Is there structural racism within the ministry! Has WU considered what happens to all the BAME students who graduate from Hogwarts? I'd like to see future updates correct this likely unconscious bias when creating OCs for the game.

I wonder whether part of this could be explained by perceptions of the cultural diversity or hypothetical lack there of within the UK on the part of the devs. I completely see your point and totally agree some diversity more diversity is sorely needed. Like there's literally zero argument for why newly invented characters such as Constance Pickering should be Caucasian versus any other ethnicity. That being said there's definitely a historic predisposition to associate the UK with Caucasian majority. If you think of the British empire "colonizing" far off locations don't you first think of white people? Obviously regardless of the validity of that being a part of Britain's history it's certainly true that the UK is a far more racially/culturally diverse place than it was 100 or 200 years ago. Consider that it was only as of 1998 in terms of game lore that Kingsley Shacklebolt became Minister of Magic and aside from students he's the only other BAME individual that comes to mind in the entire HP universe which only further cements your point that HP lacks diversity in representation.

It’s based on the books and movies which already have that bias present... can’t change that to a Black Hermione or an Asian Ron... but indeed maybe some other characters can be made more diverse. Although we don’t really know what’s hiding behind the death eaters masks... they might be from Latino descend. 🤔
