Recent "Community Day" events are absolutely unacceptable.

The November "make-up" and October events currently in progress are horrible. The October one underway today, in particular, is possibly the worst thing I have ever encountered in any game -- and not just games like this.

Requiring a large number of rare spawns to complete the tasks in extremely annoying, and with the trace detection tonics not spawning the correct things it's doubly so. When one of these fabled spawns does appear, there's a pretty good chance that it will suck up 5-10 energy and an exstimulo potion or two and then depart. (For reference, my collection rate is about 33% and I hit masterful traces at about a 50% rate.)

These recent events have turned a game that used to be fun into a frustrating chore. Really, over the past two days the frustration has actually changed to anger which is rapidly approaching rage. Whoever designed these events should be transferred to the mailroom and whoever approved them for release should be fired and, if possible, deported to Siberia.

I'm well aware that internet ultimatums are about as fruitless as the feedback we players give about this game, but I'll throw in my two cents anyway. One more event like this and I will quit, encourage everyone I know to quit and avoid the game, and make it a point to say negative things about it and every company involved in its production at every opportunity and in every forum I happen to participate in as long as I remember to do so.

Seriously. Hire better people to manage this thing.
