Gold, and patience

I purchased "a handful of gold" to top off my purchase for my rental cauldron. I never got my gold, and the remainder I had disappeared. I have a receipt. I have both closed the app and rebooted ny phone several times. It's neen an hour. It's never taken this long. What is a reasonable time to wait, and why is there no method of taking care of issues like this? And where did my other gold go to?
