Latest Brilliant event -Problems

  1. I am not seeing a lot of spawns for brilliant traces, yet we have to collect 350 family xp at 3 xp for each trace. This is very tedious and it has been the slowest collection ever.
  2. Following getting the 350 family xp, you need to get 15 snatchers which can be difficult to find. You also need to brew a large number of potions, open a large number of portkeys, and place 5 images on the family page. Because of this, I can see that a large portion of people will be unable to complete all of the tasks.
  3. With the increased difficulty, the rewards have gotten worse, not better.
  4. Due to the factors above, I have found this to be the least enjoyable event to date and it may be the first event I do not complete.

    Same for all of the above. This event had so much potential, but it was squandered. It’s impossible to finish this. Highly unsatisfying.

    100000% agree. I’ve been trying to get to 350xp all week. If Baruffio’s potion gave us double brilliant event XP that would certainly help but this is pretty ridiculous to only get 3 from each trace.

    Opening portkeys finally helped me get over the hump and complete the 350 family XP goal, but it took days. And then I had so little time to try to progress through the other tasks at the next levels. And I was infuriated when I saw the bonus tasks. In a way, it was moot because I had run out of time and was never going to be able to complete any of them anyway, but I really need silver keys for portkeys. The bonus task had silver keys, but to get the reward, you had to open portkeys. As I mentioned above, I had already opened 4 portkeys to get the family XP that I needed, so I didn't have any portkeys available for unlocking, much less time to walk and unlock them, or, oh, yeah, silver keys to unlock them with. I would have needed keys to unlock the portkeys, so I could earn silver keys, which I don't have. Real Catch-22, that.
