Winner Winner, Where's My Turkey Dinner?

My wizard wife made her usual run this morning in an effort to restock her energy, a first thing in the morning daily task she has added to her Starbucks run. When she came home, she complained all she was getting was pumpkin juice and had to circle the park 5 times. I shrugged my shoulders, not knowing what to make of it.
Later, I made off to one of our local Fortresses to do my thing. Once I was done and real low on energy, I did what I usually do and took a walk around my neighbourhood restocking my energy before heading back home. It didn't take long for me to remember what my wife had said and started paying closer attention. Where were the turkey dinners? I did see one or two before I got home, but by then it was too late.
I could feel it now, a disturbance in the Force, a change in the Matrix, and all I could think was nooo, don't do it! I won't be ready to go vegan 'til I'm dead! Bottom of the bell curve maybe? Hope so... Fortunately we have two events upon us, nice distraction.

I noticed the Inn that I have been going to is now gone. Is Niantic tired of us complaining about low energy and showing us that it could be worse?
@Crogabattoir No, In your case you'll see this happen for a little while as they rebalance the game. Eventually it'll be a rare occurrence. I am concerned they may think power players are moving too fast...time will tell.
I also was getting a lot of pumpkin juice this morning , however this afternoon I ended up being a lot more lucky . I also was wondering if they had tanked The energy somehow .
