I've noticed as I rank up the families in the Registry, the level of Runestone I receive as a reward is also rising. It's leading me to believe low level Runestones won't be available as I rank up further. The 10 pack of level 1 Runestones for every family offered at Diagon Alley will likely come in handy.
The option is there to farm the family you want rune stones for. If you want a rune stone so badly the game encourages you to visit that particular flag for a family, or hunt at night for the oddity rune stones.
I'm well aware that it is an option to find specific family foundables, @Valki . However, the option also exists to purchase rune stones, and I was merely putting it out there that it would be nice to be able to purchase specific family rune stones with in-game currency.
